✭✭Skill lines only ever unlock at the character level, for the character that does the work; not for the account.
Why would it (or should it) be any different if you take the short-cut of buying the skill line?

Or.. just do the skill line, takes a few hours only.
I have done Psijic Line 15 times now.
I can remember each line what the Augur says way too clearly.. just put on some good music and turn off the in game sounds and grind it.

✭✭✭✭✭psijic is hardly necessary for every character, the undaunted kinda is, but psijic? maybe for some magicka characters due to the minor force...but this can be achieved with medusa set next update as well0 -

There are a few skills and passives that work well for stam chars as well, channelled acceleration is a good mag dump, and meditate is something I tend to use a lot in PvP on stam chars. Then you also have undo which sometimes even work when you spend your ult on it.0 -

✭✭✭Yep you have to pay per character AND they are not hittable so you really have to pay. IMO they should all be 2 to 3k higher on the crown cost. Because if your gonna pay for.that sort of thing then you really should have to pay.1 -

Several nice skills for PVP on both Stam and Mag characters.. so i tend to eventually do it for all of my pvp characters, sometimes while leveling a new one, so multitasking at same time doing level, psijic, opening zones/wayshrines, collecting mages guild books (if mag char) all at once.
Saves time imo when not do all of those separately.0 -

Everest_Lionheart✭✭✭✭✭Once you get half way through it’s not too time consuming anymore. Even the developers seemed to realize that and put the objectives closer to wayshrines and in a direct line. The first for quests though they made some of them hard to get.
You can put mages guild on the list of tedious things to do as well. Especially for us console players. No add ons to save us. You need a companion app or maps from the internet to find all the locations.0 -

I think that grinding the Antiquities skill lines to 10 makes Psijic feel like a cake walk.
I will never level an alt on Antiquities, but I've put a handful of characters through the Psijic line.2 -

Yeahthe problem is more the price. If you don't want to do the 5 hr+ grind on your char that's already going to cost you 3k crowns (~20 euros) . Since undaunted is also a must and mages guild too for some, you either have the option of doing soul crushingly boring grinds for days. Or you can spend 80 euros on every char you level.

It certainly shouldn't be higher. The entire guild skill line system makes your gameplay experience worse. I don't see why people should be penalised even more for skipping the grind.
