Nightblade + All Procs build... Any good?

I have a guildmate who wants to run Sellstrix, Defiler, and Red Mountain as a Nightblade.
He will be running this set in BG’s and cyrodiil.
I want to know if any of you NBs in the community have had success running proc set builds in pvp, and if you think this setup in particular would be successful in PVP combat. Thanks in advance!

Rahar✭✭✭✭Sure, you can. There was a vid of someone running pure procs (Way of Fire, Red Mountain, some kinda proc monster set?) a little bit back and it worked okay. But why would you?
At least until the next patch you'll pretty much be forced to run flurry to get the proc chances to maximize, which is a dead on arrival skill that's really annoying to use. On top of that, stamblade built for weapon damage isn't that horrible right now, especially in Cyrodiil.NeRf MaGsOrC1 -
Tammany✭✭✭✭I've tried sellstix, any decent player easy dodges the proc, so reliable only on opener (sometimes)1

Atherakhia✭✭✭✭Venomous Smite + Sheer Venom + Master's Bow or Ring of Wild Hunt.
That's something like 30k poison damage applied at 30+ yards on a single skill.
Next patch you can the same with the Maelstrom 2h, Venomous Smite, and the new bleed set (forget name off hand). A movement skill that will apply 30k in DOTs.

✭✭If going proc, you want to have both major defile and minor defile up as much as possible to punish anyone that gets touched by you. After you have both of those up, killing is extremely easy, proc or not, skills or not...
Add in oblivion damage to that equation and it's the start of something nasty.1 -

JinxxND✭✭✭✭Going procs next patch you won't be able to take advantage of the crit dmg that nb gets or crit heals, but procs are always viable esp in non CP by any class.PC NA -
