It's soooo frustrating to face Magicka sorc till they are down to 20% and they start to spam strike with the Engine Guardian restoring their resources, hide, come back, fight again.

The cost should be far higher.

    Yeah imagine a spammable teleport with no cooldown on it... Other renown MMO's have designed a similar skill with 15 seconds cooldown or a variation with 2 charges but 20 seconds cooldown. ESO devs thought it would be cool to make spammable abilities overpowered instead of spammable abilities being less powerful and the more powerful abilities being on a cooldown to keep stuff somewhat balanced.

    Yeah imagine a spammable teleport with no cooldown on it... Other renown MMO's have designed a similar skill with 15 seconds cooldown or a variation with 2 charges but 20 seconds cooldown. ESO devs thought it would be cool to make spammable abilities overpowered instead of spammable abilities being less powerful and the more powerful abilities being on a cooldown to keep stuff somewhat balanced.

    The great thing is you can go play that game if you want cooldowns.

    I am playing that game. I also enjoy having stable servers to pvp in. I hope you don't mind I keep commenting on some feedback here at times, who knows, the devs might implement good changes and I can come back one day and have a better experience than when I left. After all what I want isn't specifically cooldowns.. proper balance is what I want and cooldowns are only one of many ways to keep abilities balanced, sure thing increase the magicka cost 200% with no cooldown if that works best for you, as long as it achieves the same goal of balancing the game. Can always live in hope, this game has great potential.

    As someone who was initially happy that they reduced the penalty on streak to 33% from 50%, I can definitely say I've since changed my mind.

    Sure there are a handful of good sorcs who will actually stand there and fight it out but even they have their limits and will head for the hills rather than choose to die in most cases. Then we have the vast majority of sorcs who only know how to run away as soon as they start to get pressured even a little bit.

    I'm also not for reverting/increasing the penalty to streak, I just wanted to come on here and say that most sorcs are cowards. Most NB's too, cause why not B)

    Its a bit jarring after seeing so many sorcs that just streak streak streak whenever you pressure them to where you go full ham and run into a good sorc that really flips that pressure. Its frankly obnoxious to be streaked all the time. But I am having a blast lately running stamsorc with streak and bombard and dishing it out.

    I am all for it have the cost increase though. I could manage

    More an issue with engine guardian's 200% uptime than with sorcerer streak, in my opinion.

    I wouldn't say useless. But if streak is used uber defensively the fight is over. Engaged in combat you can only hard cc once every so many seconds.

    The only way i find to kill sorcers runners is making a build just for them. And even then if he is a good scapist good luck.

    Nightblades in are anoying but they are paper, sorcs magicka and stamina hit hard, have a great sustain and a huuuuuuuuge mobility and at no-cp campaign they are, from my exp with my magdk, unkillable if :they are good. Yesterday one guy spend all day, from the afternoon till night at 11 with over 1kcp all day dominating Imperial city uncontested. Why he dont play cp? Couse he now his class is OP at no-cp.

    I think block should be able to stop streak stun as counter play.

    Everything else is fine.

    just walk away. if i run into anyone who streaks away or through me repeatedly i just turn around and run the other way. don't indulge them. in my opinion streak is an extremely overloaded ability considering the viability of other movement skills/gap closers alongside the 10 ability limit, so i just don't deal with it. in other games, everyone can slot some kind of movement ability/gap closer, so a class having a good one isn't a big deal, but only in ESO do you have to sacrifice something if you want to slot a gap closer.

    the game is balanced around nothing having a cooldown, so when you give one class an ability that works as an escape, gap closer, and unblockable stun, while no one else has access to anything similar, you tend to create an imbalance. the reason you'd never see something like this in any other game is because it's a poorly balanced, poorly implemented ability.
