Title. Article says they would be. So far, I haven't found a doubled one,. But they are dropping the SUmmerset boxes.

✭✭✭✭✭I've only gotten one Psijic Portal so far, period. I don't remember if it contained a Summerset Coffer.
But I don't think it's supposed to be a guaranteed thing, just a chance thing.
I've gotten many additional Summerset Coffers on this first day of the event, just by farming mats and killing overland mobs on the way to quests, or killing mobs during quests or in public dungeons, etc. They might not be guaranteed, but the chance of getting them seems to be fairly good.
The bad news is, that means your inventory is going to be flooded with Vanus' gear and other Summerset overland sets.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!3 -

✭Interesting, I read it differently somehow. The way they wrote it, I thought they meant there would be twice as many Psijic portals. I'm probably wrong but for me personally, I'm definitely finding more than I normally do. Maybe it's just RNG coincidence though.0 -

If my memory serves me correctly, jewelry nodes and psijic portals have a higher chance of spawning in Summerset than other zones.1 -
Ishtarknows✭✭✭✭✭Neither are giant clams giving double drops. They are a resource node (they glow with the keen eye passive) so should be doubled with the others.3

That's lame. The drop rate is already incedibly low and it is quite weird that the ingredients for a purple food are more expensive than for golden food.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭I find it very interesting that there seems to have been a ton of effort put into deciding what is and is not intended to have double drops. A bit less effort into implementing it into the game. Even less effort in relaying it to the players.
Yet after all that, we get:
Cloudrest isn't intended for double drops, sorry we said it was. We'll update the descriptive text rather than fix it.
Clams aren't intended to have double drops. We never said they did (though it could be easily inferred).
Psijic Portals? Totally intended for double drops. That's our bad. We'll check that out ASAP.
Really, couldn't they just say:
Sorry, Psijic Portals were not intended to have double drops. We'll update the event description to more accurately describe what does and does not have increased drop chances (for the third time... hey anyone remember the MoL thing... that happened for 2 years in a row?... Yay! extra whiskers!)

Shaie✭✭✭I've found one & while it DID contain a purple chest, it did not contain any more loot than usual. I think it had a white item & some flowers as well as the chest.0
