I am at a loss for words....
I grinded out some antiquities for a quick 28K gold (and some antiquities XP, 2 birds, 1 stone) so I could buy a Psijic Ambrosia recipe I saw in the guild trader. Bought it. Learned it. First milestone complete. Time for bed.
Next day I'm grinding out provisioning. At level 50 now (wow, that took like 5 minutes lol). Then sped through a few quick dungeons, to buy some mats and pay to re-allocate my skill points (invested in clothing, but swapped that out for provisioning so I can craft psijic ambrosia). By this point, I have spent 2 days working towards a specific goal, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I am very excited...
...
...
I get to my provisioning station.... I cannot craft Psijic Ambrosia. Its as though I never learned the recipe... LET ME CLARIFY: Proper level, check. Materials, check. Proper skill points, check. So I go to the guild trader again, find another recipe, to confirm it says "already in your library," but to my horror and dismay... it says I need to use to add to my library...
I do not have video proof of this since, as I stated above, I used the recipe the night before, then noticed the issue next day. I do admit, I thought it was weird that it let me learn the recipe, since I wasnt the proper provisioning level yet (and crafting motifs require passives), but it didnt dawn on me at the moment since it was late (spent a decent chunk of time tracking down antiquities) and I was just excited to complete that nights goal: buy the recipe and learn it, log off.
Has this happened to anyone else before? Is there any way Devs can prove my claim? I already deleted the item purchased mail -_- ya know, since I claimed the item and used it.
A friend loaned me some gold since that other recipe was available, and after purchasing it and using it, I can now craft psijic ambrosia. I would say alls well that ends well except... Im still pretty livid all my time/gold was just stomped on.
TLDR: I purchased a recipe, I learned it (got the visual and text confirmation that I learned the recipe), theeeen leveled provisioning, then reallocated skill points for the required passives, but could not craft the recipe (was not in my library). I purchased the recipe again, and can now craft Psijic Ambrosia.
