Caltrops light attack weaving feels buggy

It does not weave well after a light attack, there is a definite hesitation. Light attack weaving it and bar swapping or rolling after cancels out the skill and leaves only the light attack

Not only caltrops. Since Block cancel got changed there are skills that are easy to wave while others are just absolute clunky. When i play on my MagDk for example, i cant cancel/wave a single class ability, while others with a shrter/smaler animation like race against time can be canceled instantly.

Don't know if this is what was intended by these changes, but i guess it just is how it is and will remain like this.

Yeah, the weave on the MagDK has been pretty choppy. Thought it was my controller (PS4) until I bought a new one this weekend. Does not work well with the whip.

As for Caltrops, are they back from the dead?

The whip thing is weird, but I’ve learned to trust what I’m pressing on my controller works even though it doesn’t synch up with what’s happening on my screen and I’m using a wired controller to reduce lag on XB1. What bugs me more is the hiccup between a heavy attack weave when bar swapping. The heavy attack will cancel out and restart after the swap instead of complete than swap so the timing needs to be exact.

If I edited a post, it was for spelling. It is always because of spelling....

    No

That's what I thought. The only time I use caltrops is in vet MHK on the wolfpack to slow them down. Only use I have found

It's great for trash mobs and whatnot when soloing dungeons. But yeah, I drop it when grouped(Vhm, trials, etc)

I use Soul Splitting Trap in its place - no Fracture with it, but it hits fairly hard, and across multiple targets, and I was looking for another AoE. It’s been eating trash/dungeon mobs pretty well, and 0 stamina cost, to boot.

    (For PvE stamblade).

Is anyone still using Caltrops since it was nerfed into the ground? Surely not for damage at any rate? Or have I missed something?
