PTS - Daedric Summoning “Hybrid” math

“Daedric Summoning -
All pets from this skill line now use a hybrid of your Spell Damage and Max Magicka, rather than purely Max Magicka. This change was done to reduce the total power of these abilities when stacking a singular stat.“

Any thoughts or close idea from those who have tested this on the PTS on how this HYBRID math is split between Magicka & Spell Damage?

50/50

60/40

75/25

Any thoughts?

... just like all skills, 10.5 max mag=1 spell power, they probably just halved the max mag scaling and added the spell power.

Have you tested it on the PTS?

Or is that what the “...” is for?

Have not, but tests of other people on the PTS forums indicate so, setups that include necropotence got hit, ms+pfg stayed more or less the same, siroria/bsw+ms hit harder.

Ya I still MS/false god or sioria is probably still valid for next patch on a petsorc...but nercoptence RIP outside my magden.
Sad I had full gold set of necropotence because it was dependable for a long time.

Prior to getting the trial sets I think destruction mastery and julianos is probably good enough still has a decent magicka and added crit/sp, or burning spellweave+julianos or MS. I was never a fan of BSM outside magickDK.

I would love to see their actual math weights on the SP vs Magicka in regards to pets though.

If you look at the skill coefficients in our skills browser (on the left hand side) then it was indeed changed to a 10.5 ratio in the update 27 PTS patch.

So there is no soft cap Magicka vs Spell Damage? I have always understood the 10.5 but their “hybrid” math is what I was wondering about.

If it is that simple then I will just stick with the basics for now till they post a new meta.

I think this is a pvp "nerf" for magsorc, so you can't have high shields and high heals (via matriarch) at the same time.
