I've wanted an Ayleid ruin for a player home since FOREVER, and so I finally stopped waiting and made one for myself! I found that it was easier to design a fully functional home as opposed to an "ruin," since the Alinor walls don't look at all ruin-like, but this is the next best thing, I think! I'm quite pleased with it (though a few walls are still obviously not aligned quite perfectly yet).

The Exclusionary Mandates of Maruhkite Selection: All Are Equal

1: That the Supreme Spirit Akatosh is of unitary essence, as proven by the monolinearity of Time.
1: That Shezarr the missing sibling is Singularly Misplaced and therefore Doubly Venerated.

    Beautiful! An awesome custom Ayleid home, great job picking together different items to complete the aesthetic including Alinor, Imperial, and Antiquities! I love how you managed to create various areas from the very limited furnishing items available, such as the 'kitchen shelf' bookcases, and the 'writing desk' table! :smile:

    Also, one question, at 4:30-4:33 there seem to be a star-patterned stone element in your doorway - is that part of the Alinor post/gateway or are those stars part of another item that you added for decoration? I haven't noticed them before, and they look great.

    Looks really superb. The ayleid bookshelves make great kitchen counters. Very nice design throughout.

    Wonderful! I hope next year zos introduces an ayleid storyline and chapter so we can get a lot more furnitures and ayleid houses.

    @bluebird Thank you very much!! I'm glad to hear the blend works well. I wanted to mix it up, so that it had a unique feel instead of being strictly Alinor-based. The Ayleids aren't carbon copies of the Altmer, after all, and I wanted the home to reflect that. <3

    The stars are indeed part of the Alinor Archway; I just did a really good job of lining up the arch and the walls, so it's hard to tell.

    The same superb alignment can't be said about all of the walls, though! :D

    Thank you!!! The Ayleid bookshelves as counters were one of the last ideas I had, and I was super pleased with how they came out!

    Nice home! I'm wondering something though, what did you use for the floor/dirt at the entrance of the home? By the lightwell and the font.

    @Corngobbler Clockwork junk heaps, turned upside-down! There's a small version available from the Clockwork City furnishing vendor, and a larger version available for Crowns only. They make great dirt patches!

    @Corngobbler Clockwork junk heaps, turned upside-down! There's a small version available from the Clockwork City furnishing vendor, and a larger version available for Crowns only. They make great dirt patches!
