Crafting drives me nuts

I totally agree that the best weapons/ armor/ etc should be from crafting.

But I hate it so much. The amount of time it takes really sucks. Plus this system is really confusing and takes a crap ton of vault space.

So,,, is there a good guide for crafting so I don't have to spend my day asking stupid questions in zone chat.?

    Have a look at this site;

    http://www.gameskinny.com/

    They have guides for all the crafting trades. But don't try to do them all from the off pick 1-2 that you can use plus Provisioning.

    Also join a guild that's willing to help and offer advice.

    If I had it my way, crafting would take at least 50 times longer to level. Yup, I am deadly serious. You have no idea what a long leveling curve is unless you played Runescape. The beauty of this difficulty is how meaningful it becomes to reach the end, because so few are willing to get there. It acts as a filter, a barrier, so only the most dedicated reach the end and in so doing, they become extremely valuable.

    Agree. The way it is now, anyone can craft everything within a month or so. Should take way-way-way longer, to keep the game interesting craft-wise.

    edit: always max out all crafts in MMO's that i play.

    That is the problem with modern day MMOs in general though. Everything is convenient and easy. Everyone can do everything and it doesn't take long to do it. What this means is, the game is fundamentally designed around short-medium term play. Not long term.

    It's a symptom of our generation, if you ask me. Instant gratification is the only approach acceptable anymore.

    He is my issue. I play for about 3 hours a day during week and a ton. On weekends. I have to focus on leveling, pvp, or crafting. My main goal is pvp and if I dont get to 50 I will just be a donation for the opposing side.

    What sucks is that I want to craft but I have to spend the day working.

    Damn you real life responsibility....
