Need help making a spell sword hybrid

Hey all, im returning to the game after years without playing and wanted to restart it all from the scratch so i deleted all my 50 chars ! I know im stupid

I would like to create one and only char and focus on him . Im interessed only about PVP specialy BG. And of course a bit of questing and farming exploring the world.

I want to play hybrid with half magika / stamina
I would like to make a "spell sword" character and i dont know witch class and race / build would be better for this ?
Im thinking of dunmer with either templar or sorcerer.
basicaly a class than can open the fight from far with direct damage and / or Dot then switch to your sword . Or finishing runner from distance with spells. And able to healhimself / buff and heal others.
What would you suggest ? i really need help to make this dream character come true

I think it works best with Dunmer.

So you can go with DK and play what I call "ProcTard" and just play a bunch of Proc set you can combine Fire and Poison Proc Sets. It is strong in non CP PVP.

Or there is the 2h MagNB build that used to be popular because you can use Momentum to get out of CC easily.

im trying to level at Sorcerer dunmer with dual wield and skill + spell in main bar and healing staff + spells and buff in the second one. with half points spend in stamina and half in magika. So far im 20 and only leveling questing its very fun and efficiency but will it work in pvp ?

I would definitely recommend dunmer for race. As for class, I think sorcerer fits the spellsword theme the best, but any class can be played as a hybrid.

I wont go into gear discussion because that's more for max level. Just try to get stuff that has both spell and weapon bonuses like shacklebreaker, new moon acolyte, ancient dragonguard, stuhns, or mechanical acuity... which are all craftable.

I'm on my necro hybrid right now. I still have a lot of things to level up.

I wouldn't recommend it but I'm playing an Altmer vampire hybrid. I like doing things the hard way. Plus I'm sort of role playing.

Now that I look at it, the dunmer passive are freaking loaded. How are they not superior to every other race?

Yeah it look awesome i will try this thank you ! I will also try to modify it for a dual wield instead of two handed, but if it doesnt work two handed will be very fine
