Magsorcs need some love

Whenever it’s a balance between PvE and PvP, PvP should ALWAYS take priority. There is no competition in PvE, or its just not to the same degree as PvP. Mobs and bosses are static and as long as you can complete the task, you win. If you did 5% less dps than a fellow necro, who really cares. All that matters is if you were able to complete the dungeon/trial/whatever PvE has.

Obviously devs should always strive to balance both forms of gameplay, but PvP should take precedence if it would be unavoidably affected. Currently magsorcs are dominating and FAR outperforming any other mag class in PvP. They don’t need buffs.

So the game mode that doesn't work well should take priority? Lol.

Clearing vma with 1-bar doesn't make a class stronger. I'm talking about endgame. If you need a 1 bar setup to clear vma, you aren't there yet.

Also, again, I know they are good in pvp. I'm talking of endgame pve. So yes please, do something.

Give them a good passive that they are wanted in trials, like the ones given by Engulfing of Magdks or Fetcher of wardens. The current passive is meh.

Or buff their execute, like those of NBs. Or even the new Magdens.

Or increase the damage of some of their DOTs for cleave, like that of Magdks again.

Or give them an ultimate that makes them viable, like those of Magcros.

Tbh. Cyro is not competative either. It never was. Its core design favours gropus and zerging (overwhelming enemy with numbers). Cyro is more like a PvP sandbox.

Closest you can get to "fair" PvP is duels.

Either way, balancing class / sets with only one aspect of the game (PvP), will bring HUGE imbalance in the other part of the game (PvE) and vice versa. We need holostic aproach.

There is no competition in pvp either. Just join the big group and follow them. Zerg everyone or lose if the enemies zerg is bigher then yours. Only size matters XD

There cannot be balance because everyone cannot be equal. We play differently and have different skills in playing.
Phrase "This ***** X must never interfere in my playstyle" works both if you put Pvp or PvE instead of X. Because we dont like some random nonames to dictate us how to play.

The same is about classes. We want our class to be the best and envy when someone is better.
It so so good when that "overpowered X-class has been nerfed at last!" but when players own class is nerfed then "this ****** crybabies has cryed that nerf bacause they dont know how to play!".

    Someone will always be crying...

Well I have a magdk, magblade, stamcro, magden and a magcro in the works. A tank, and a healer. And a pve magsorc, a pvp magsorc.

But I'd still stand by my point, magsorcs need to be revisited. They deserve more than to be everyone's crafter.

This is the mindset of a lot in the ESO community.
There are quite a bit of mechanics in game that can make a vet dungeon, hard mode, Trail, vet Trail etc a lot more difficult or even next to impossible if dps is not at the highest levels.
So it’s ok to spend hours, wipe, kick players, g quit, disband group, trash talk other players for not pulling their weight...all in the name of PVP?
There are so many toxic people in every game but more so here in ESO. Weaker PVE classes just give fuel to that fire🔥
Is it asking too much to balance PVE or increase an execute/ultimate ability to close the gap and give it a minor debuff in PVP so it is not OP??
    I don’t think it is.
