Tbh. Cyro is not competative either. It never was. Its core design favours gropus and zerging (overwhelming enemy with numbers). There is no competition in pvp either. Just join the big group and follow them. Zerg everyone or lose if the enemies zerg is bigher then yours. Only size matters XD
There cannot be balance because everyone cannot be equal. We play differently and have different skills in playing.
Phrase "This ***** X must never interfere in my playstyle" works both if you put Pvp or PvE instead of X. Because we dont like some random nonames to dictate us how to play.
The same is about classes. We want our class to be the best and envy when someone is better.
It so so good when that "overpowered X-class has been nerfed at last!" but when players own class is nerfed then "this ****** crybabies has cryed that nerf bacause they dont know how to play!".
Someone will always be crying...

Obviously devs should always strive to balance both forms of gameplay, but PvP should take precedence if it would be unavoidably affected. Currently magsorcs are dominating and FAR outperforming any other mag class in PvP. They don’t need buffs.
