Yet another poll about adding fishing holes to the available furnishings!
With my background in programming (Q1, Q2, Q3, TESIII, TESIV, TESV, F2, F3, FNV, F4); I can confirm that it'd take less than 30 seconds to add one to an achievement furnisher... 5 minutes for a fancy job.
Please add your thoughts & prerequisite ideas to the comments!
My idea would be something like: 1x [Fishing Hole] per Master Angler achievement (make us earn it)
& 12hr cooldown just like the resource hireling skills.

Catch should be restricted to bait. E.g. minnows, shad, etc. That lets you trade bait for one water type for another, and provides a marginal utility, but not game-changing. Bait returned depends on bait used.
Hole should be inexhaustible, since you're not catching anything more than bait. That lets it be a point for social gathering, e.g. at a guild hall. Instead of /lute, /dance while you chat, you all can fish.
I can see problems with the restrictions on placement. Some players will moan if they can't fish down a well, for example.

Every house with water should have them tbh, it's not like it's much different standing around outside (as if it's hard to find fishing spots).
There should be more to do with homes at this point -- while I am mostly either in PvE or PvP, it's nice to mix it up and work on a house. But when done, I find myself not visiting them nearly as often as I'd like to considering how much they cost (whether it be gold or crowns).2 -
