BOP all hireling materials?

Since there is quite a uproar about hirelings being OP and so forth why not just make it so only your account can use the items?

While people would still be able to sell armor with these enchants, odds are even if some could DC items and get very lucky in getting rare mats back would still reduce the amount considerably overall?

I like this to. I've no problem with BOP stuff as a way to limit over abuses.

so it takes 2 slots for everything in bank if you have bop honing stones, ores and gems? terrible idea

That would be an issue, true, but maybe they could implement it so BoP crafting materials don't take up bank slots... Maybe... (I'll admit I haven't thought it through yet, I'm just brainstorming!)

Hirelings aren't really that big a deal... you have something like a 1 in 1000 chance of getting a legendary upgrade mat. If you are that worried about abuses then just make your 8 chars with hirelings and if it becomes a problem then Zos will deal with it. Right now people are just making mountains out of molehills.

That just can't be right.

I get more Legendary tempers than Rare or Epic tempers from the Blacksmith Chests.

I have no issue with how hirelings work at the moment, however there are quite a few people making a very big deal out of it so this was my attempt to find a compromise.

I agree this is not a perfect solution, but considering the extreme alternatives some are suggesting including (removing hirelings) this is a far less painful choice.
