What do i have to do to get ring of the wild hunt?

I saw this awsome video as to where find the leads for the ring of the wild hunt. However, ive killed the worldboss in Murkmire and i have done dead mans hollow like 5 times each and none leads have dropped. I also cant see the ring itself in the ingame menu. Am i doing something wrong here? Im lvl 7 at scrying and excavating.

It's RNG-based, unfortunately. With some leads I have been very lucky and got them on my first try (especially when I wasn't actively looking for them), but others I haven't seen at all yet, and not for lack of trying. It can require many attempts at defeating the same WB or public dungeon enemies. So no, you're not doing anything wrong, you just haven't been very lucky yet. Just keep at it, you'll get the leads at some point!

The lead drops are subject to RNG.

Took me 20 minutes of fishing (which was just about bearable). But friends have said they’ve been fishing for days.

Expect a bit of a nerf soon anyway as ‘mythic’ items become a lot less ‘mythic’ shortly.

Elden Hollow and the Murkmire bosses took me the longest time. I'm guessing you meant Elden Hollow? There is Bad Man's Hallows.
