Homestead Character Pathing? Yes please!

Very interesting indeed and very helpful - but this one waits to see how it will work in practice and what limitations there may be.

We already face the limit on the number of pets and mounts etc. Will these new purchasable characters come under this limit too?

Much to learn next week this one she thinks.

Please please please allow the Soul Shrivens from the Crown Store to be pathed as well. That would make my house come alive.

If it's only those pitiful 10 pets you can place in your house and the few assistants, then I am less hyped, but still very very awesome.

Me and my friend talked about this feature some time ago, but never believed it would come or even be possible. Great and now please increase the furnishing limit, especially the pet/mount limit of 10.

It must be applaued how ZoS always cares for older systems and zones. No other MMO does it in such frequency. Thank you for keeping everything relevant and improving all aspects of the game, not just the newest DLC.

This is an absolutely fantastic development and I cannot wait to put it to good use.

However, to complete the development what Zos now needs to do is make all manner of additional NPCs available to purchase for our homes (or "craft" (recruit)).

-Basic soldiers from each zone should be available to guard your abode!
-Cooks
-Stable hands
-Blacksmiths, clothiers, woodworkers
-Performers, singers, jugglers etc

All of these and more should effectively be "craftable" at workstations or purchasable from housing vendors. This process is effectively our hiring/recruiting them.

And along side this, we absolutely need an increase for every house, in the number of "mounts" and "pets" and with this development, NPCs, that we can place in our homes. The current limits are ridiculously low.

I would love it if it can work with linked items. Because in my house, I have the new moon senche mount with the shadow tendril environment effect on the ground below it. If it could roam around the house with the effect following that would be absolutely epic.

I also hope the pathing can be made in the air for flying pets...

Awesome addition! I would really love some NPCs gettings sold via the Writvoucher system. We need some new Items there for a long time and this system rewards the most dedicated players the most!

You could add it alongside the Crownstore options.
Or you could make some Clockwork things craftable there!

I wish they would spend some time to fix the floors in some of the houses so they are even to make it easier to place furniture.

Ie Pariahs floor is very uneven and a royal pain to place stuff

This could be awesome but the limit of 10 pets/mounts for the biggest houses is way too low. I love housing, almost all of my other games have it too, and eso is the most restrictive. Which is a shame because we have tons of beautiful options available to make wonderful houses. Furnitures, objects, walls and stairs, mounts, pets, assistants, music boxes, the choice is great... But the limits are too frustrating. I wanted to make a farm in the riften house, bought it, but still haven't started to work on it because the limit of 8 animals is too disheartening. I'd surely look forward to this update and go back more seriously to eso housing if they increase it.

If we're very, veeery lucky, it will involve placeable NPC canvasses that we can assign to appear like either our own alts, other players' characters (or both!), or in-game NPC characters from storylines. The two former options, especially the first, have been something that has been repeatedly requested for housing for years, while the latter option is something we perhaps saw an initial beta version of in the form of the Cadwell's Astounding Portal item.

The ridiculous limit of Special Collections is why I refuse to give ZOS another cent for housing. I don't give a stuff about new "characters", I want my pets and my mounts on display at my home.

I just want to be able to have my other characters wandering around and be able to access their inventories like mini banks.

It would be worth whatever they want to charge to not have 16 (unusually long) loadscreens every time I go looking for that staff of thing I know I've got somewhere!

Well, Cadwell is already has made an appearance with his portal furnishing. Adding him as a house visitor wouldn't be too much of a reach! Not sure how likely it is for them to include "main characters" but we'll see.

I'd love an argonian treeminder for my hist garden, or maybe some guards for my treasure trove... the possibilities are endless!

or have my Bear-dog run up to the front door and bark for no reason

Want list wise ...

This one is probably not too interested in having well known house guests.

She would prefer a collection of khajiit villager types to keep an eye on Claws Meadow Village when the kittens of Clan Claws are not home.

Yes she would like a fisherman, a butcher, a blacksmith, a tailor, a farmer, an innkeeper, a stablehand ... also this one thinks how much fun it might be if we could have a ghost or two!

Perhaps we could gain them at festivals too as an alternative to the indriks? Your very own home jester or Fishmas khajiit perhaps?

I'd like a mix of generic and named house guests. While I absolutely need Raz to pay me a visit, they can't all be Raz, after all.

I hope the pathing nodes allow you to define specific emotes. For example, I could have an assistant who wanders around my lab, mixing potions at the alchemy station and reading reference books at my library nook. That would be cool.
