With this being a Skyrim themed content year and all?
The closest we'll apparently get this year was Icereach, which was revolving more around Reachmen than Nords. Followed by a Redguard ruin, a vampire dungeon and another werewolf/dwemer ruin kind of mashup. Did we really need more werewolves after Moonhunter Keep and March of Sacrifice? I suppose a vampire dungeon is warranted given the theme of the year, although we already had one last year, but nothing about this year's dungeon content actually says "Skyrim" to me.
No snowy mountaintops, no Nordic ruins, no Falmer or giants or mammoths or frost trolls or snow whales ...
And it's not just locations, the associated motif styles also don't add anything Nord-themed. The Reachmen and Redguard styles from Q1 are joined by a vampire style and something alchemist-like that could come from anywhere in Tamriel.
As of right now, Falkreath Hold still seems to be the best Nord-themed dungeon, which is kind of strange to me.
I don't know, maybe I just have wrong expectations, but this didn't seem like a great year for Skyrim so far. Elsweyr did much more for the catfolk last year.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.
