It's too bad PVP rewards are only good 1 week out of the year.

I am sure people will wildly disagree, but IMO, they need to buff AP gains outside of the event. Once you are in the high 30's of AR, it gets very frustrating to play a few hours and barely see your level move. I am not suggesting they give away GO to everyone that installs the game, but a 25-50% AP buff would not be inappropriate if you ask me. Even if it wasn't just a straight multiplier, I feel like AP gains across activities arent as well thought out or consistent (in terms of effort required) as they could be.

They did buff AP gains once already, @Oreyn_Bearclaw.

Been here the whole time. I am aware. It was worse at launch (anyone remember how long it used to take to get Vigor way back in the day?) If it was up to me, I would buff them further. Again, not by a crazy amount, but a buff nonetheless.

Like town, the reward the same as a ressource despite having 3 flag and thrice the mob
But ressource were buffed back then i think a ressource was 500-750 ap

Thats certainly an example. I would suggest adding an offensive tick multiplier for taking things further away from your territory. As EP give me a multiplier if I take nickel. Force the action and make it worth my time to run halfway across the map.. Capturing a scroll should be WAY more AP. I would like to see AP multipliers that increase as you get more kills, resets when you die. I could go on.

That would defeat the purpose of an achievement grind, which is to create a desire (achievement / title / whatever) that causes you to keep logging into the game and play it. The longer you stick around the more likely you are to spend money on it.

I understand the hamster wheel phenomenon of MMOs. If the stick is too far away, it can also be a disincentive to playtime. I think you also need to factor in people that like to play a lot of alts (myself included). I feel almost compelled to play my sorc, especially in an event like this, but because it’s my fav clas, far from it, but because it’s my highest AR, and she still has a ways to go.

Otherwise, maybe Cyrodiil & IC wouldn't be ghost towns for the other 51.

I would say its most likely performance, not lack of rewards, at least for cyrodiil.

I would argue it’s actually a nasty combo of both. Just speaking from personal experience as someone with possible plans of going for GO. I also work about 50 hours a week so prime time is my playtime. Well that is when performance is at it’s worst. I don’t touch it outside of double AP. I can maybe squeeze in an hour here or there outside of that which might move my AR level meter by a fraction of an inch. It becomes frustrating.
