Stygian Set with new vamp invis

I was trying out the Stygian set and noticed that it doesn’t seem to proc from the new vampire running invisibility passive. I wonder if this is a bug as the wording doesn’t specify other than it should work from stealth or invis. I was theorycrafting some fun builds if this gets changed to work.

I would expect it is intentional. Long ago Zos made it so this set bonuses that removed the sneak speed penalty did not stack with the vampire passive that increased stealth speed. This has actually happened twice as somehow Zos messed it up again after the first time.

It would be a shame if it's intentional. I'm hoping it's just an oversight. I still have an idea for using it and working around the vampire passive considering I can get access to cheaper invis pots now (the Alliance ones) but it's gonna be a tricky combo to pull off.

The reason I find it kind of weird, is that the new vampire invisibility does seem to count for the Thrassian Stranglers when you go to de-arm them. So the game does seem to consider the running invisibility, 'invisibility'. Which is what makes me think it's a bug with this set, that it needs to be updated.

You can't cast skills while sprinting and you lose unnatural movement invisibility when you stop sprinting. I don't see how this set would work.

Proxy Det.

It's a magicka skill, and is currently buffed with Stygian if you were to drink an invisibility pot before it goes off, so proxy-ing up and then running for 3s could make an interesting dash-bomber build. I can still do it now, but I'd have to drop the running invis just long enough to drink an invis pot.
