I currently have a Warden bow build but would like to play around with something else but not sure which class would be most ideal as a bow build, NB, Necro or Templar? Had a Necro for a bit but BB still be weird as just didnt work for me and also tried a Sorc for a bit but it too just didnt click. NB "seems" like it would be a good fit but what about Templar, anyone every run a Bowplar?
Or am i just better off sticking with my Warden......

I'd go with either Necro or NB. If you take Jabs away from Templar they're going to be very weak.

I've been playing bow/bow builds for several years now. I'm a solo PvE player and 'end game' for all my characters is soloing selected alliance zone normal group dungeons and most alliance zone WBs. I've used sorc, warden, templar and NB for bow/bow and rank them in that order. Warden is a good choice as you know. I actually find my sorc to be safer, more deadly and with equal sustain - and therefore able to handle more difficult content than the others.

Here are some of my impressions from playing each quite a bit:

Sorc. Surge + Hurricane + good crit is a beautiful thing. I use Dark Deal to help sustain and self burst heal so a drawback is I can offer no healing help when allies are around.

Warden. Nice set of buffs but it takes 3 to match what the sorc buffs do. With practice, shalks is a great skill. The bear is great fun and with practice, holds aggro when soloing outside of group dungeons. All foes inside group dungeons, however, totally ignore the bear. Subjectively, having a giant bear is a comforting companion but 'feels' less stealthy. Very nice having a class heal that can help me, bear and even nearby allies.

Templar. Power of the light, binding jav (stun!) and jabs are great fun. The buffs are okay with the massive exception of no class major brutality. I run Dreugh King Slayer since I won't suck potions but, as a heavy stam set, it is exacting to farm to maintain 5(med)1/1 for the Undaunted Mettle bonus (I use chest, twin bows and 2 jewelry pieces).

NB. Gave this class a full, fair shot but it never really did click and finally retired it for archery work. I found it unfriendly to use and lacking in survivability, damage and sustain. I don't mean to bash bow NBs, simply to say that it just didn't work well for me compared to the above 3 classes.

I've never tried a bow/bow DK or necro.

Cheers for that!! I found Sorc lacking in ranged class skills so curious as to what you run as one. Thats the Class i was keen to give a go with but with the clanfear taunting felt it just wasnt as good as Warden, but who knows? Be keen to see you Sorc setup if your keen to share! ;)

I'm pleased with my build though it is certainly not meta. Again, as a PvE soloist my priority is survive, sustain, damage - in that order.

Race is Bosmer. Mundus is +weapon damage. Attributes is all 64 in stam. Gear is Spriggans, Hundings, Slimecraw. Weapons are Precise. Food is blue health + stam. Potions are tristat.

Bar 1: Arrow Barrage, Bombard, Bound Armaments, Silver Shards, Dark Deal. Ult=Flawless Dawnbreaker
Bar2: Critical Surge, Hurricane, Poison Injection, Focused Aim. Ult=Flawless Dawnbreaker

Plenty of passives as you see from Bound Armaments sorc, FG. I've tried the clannfear but it requires too much attention and resources to keep alive overland and is totally ignored (like all summons) in group dungeons.

The character 'feels' like a stealthy mystic archer who is very effective from stealth standoff but can handle both groups of mobs and single big bosses quite well.

I have one pure bow character and it is actually a redguard dragonknight.

DKs get a whopping 25% cost reduction to poison stamina abilities which synergizes well with the bows lethal arrow, acid spray, and poison arrow. The poison breath ability adds major fracture to your kit, and you have a class source of major brutality plus minor brutality. I dont play this build solo very often but its awesome in dungeons.

For solo pve I actually think sorcerer is the best option because your clannfear will hold aggro on pretty much anything including bosses. Although you will have to deal with adds yourself. Power surge and echoing vigor will also heal your clannfear. It's fun to play even though you dont use any class skills as attacks, bow sorc still has a unique feel and playstyle.

    I don’t understand. “Stealthy”?
Bosmer’s have no stealth benefits. What is giving you “stealthy”?

I play (only) Bosmer for roleplay. When I say she 'feels' stealthy, that is roleplay as well - she has no clannfear or bear to 'give away' her position. Snaeking with a big summon just feels silly to me.

After reading your comment I rolled a woodelf dk as a bow/bow build and WOW! Even at low levels I LOVE it! It's not a combination I ever would have thought would work, but on closer look it really does. It puts my warden to shame (poor wardens, I hate the bear) so A+ for that suggestion! So far it's an absolute power house of damage!

Stamsorc. U can build him like a beast master from wow. But it's more a fun build. Still useful for solo and non vet content.

    Important Gear:
    Maw of infernal
    Defiler
set of your choice (I use nma frontbar)
    Malstrom bow backbar

    Important Skills:
    both pets
    Curse (pet dmg morph)
    Hail
    Caltrops
    -Rest is up to u

    Ultimate atronach

U can have up to 5 pets at the same time.

Some players are getting mad when the whole battlefield is filled with pets, ;P
