7 hr. maintenance, no patch

Anyone know what the 7 hour maintenance was for? There wasn't a patch today after a fairly long maintenance period.

Oh, and it looks like the servers are up and running now.

    It was to make sure they could break enough things for next week's 12-hour maintenance, of course.
    Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. When later asked about the experience, she seemed upset. Suffice to say, the Dunmer were not pleased to hear this, and thus they inquired further.
    "Well," the Nord frowned, "the priests were very angry and unwelcoming. They kept shouting things at me like "you can't drink that mead in here!" and "somebody stop her, she's running naked!" and "we can't catch her; she's covered in grease!""

    the maintenance was for maintenance. most don't have patches

    Don’t care. Servers are back up and MidYear was extended a full day to account for the downtime.

    Right before MYM they did maintenance. Near the end of the MYM, another maintenance. hmmm...

    I wonder if the long maintenances lately have been because of Stadia.

    Hopefully it is a short-term thing, or this could happen every time.

    It seems like they temporarily leased more server space, then their two weeks was up, and they took the extra server capacity back down. Now PvP runs just like it did before the event.

    Zos did backend infrastructure work on all servers. The next patch will likely be next week.

    Yep its gotten to be blatant. I had gone back into Gray Host because friends and it worked ok, not perfect; but at least OK most of last week. Tonight had some moments of total crap.
