Try Imperial City if you enjoy PvP. The amount of lag & loading screens in Cyrodiil is just a joke.

Cyrodiil as someone wiser than me has said before is ZOS's experiment at a turn based combat system, just think of it as chess with a timer that keeps sticking.

But in all honesty even though i love this game and have been here at the start i wouldnt touch pvp with a barge pole in its current state.

Hesitant to comment on XBOX. The recent midyear event on PC honestly went much better than I expected.

PVP is pretty bad in terms of performance during prime-time on the 30 day locked campaign. It's so bad that I dont think it's a stretch to say it is unplayable. From about 7:00-9:30 EST, skills fire about half the time, and there is always a delay. It might be playable, but certainly not as intended. It becomes a button mashing fest TBH.

Outside of that, it seems to be working better than it has in a while. The most frustrating part is that you get glimpses of how this game is supposed to function, and it's great, but lag can seem to come from nowhere. I can have pretty darn good performance while taking a keep full of people, and cant seem to fire a skill while soloing a resource with no one else around.

    - "Jump failed" error.

    - "You are already in that campaign" error even though you are only trying to go through a door in your existing campaign. I don't even know...

    - "When/Are my abilities firing?"

    - 5+ minute loading screens on occasion.

    - Grave Robber and Jabs in every death recap.

    - Cloak still don't work.

    Can't use transitus shrines

    Nope.

Glad I'm not on ESO+ --- would feel like a waste of money being subscribed to a beta-level game.

I think it is central to ESO's well-being to critique the developers when they change the game (or fail to change something).
But the negativity can be exhausting, so I vow to post 50/50 negativity and appreciation.

Its worse than it ever has been by country mile. The desyncs, lags, crashes etc are just absurd.

ZoS have not fixed anything and it has gotten worse and worse.

Its just not true what you say. The PvP runs very smooth given that there is a huge event ongoing, I wish the performance would be as good without the Event.

I had no Loading Screen Issues, my game runs very well as long as I stay away from megazergs, I mean who wants to be a zergling, Skills fire properly whenever I want it, overall I had way better experience this event than before and propably after...

Exactly why i un-subbed, not an easy decision having been ESO+ since it went live but i refuse to pay for the current service, if my car ran this bad i would have driven it back through the showroom window.

I have about 5 years of experience from Xbox main campaigns, about 4 on EU Pact and 1 on NA Covenant. I've played last time on EU just before Wrathstone and then my account got completely stuck after the download so I can't tell what's the situation there nowadays. But when I still was able to login there and play in Cyrodiil the action was quite much about smaller and often around 10 or more players skillfully camping and "small scaling" at resources and "tactically" retreating into towers, also many players started running behind the nearest tree or rock as soon as someone even looked at them, it's very funny when acting like chasing them and they're already half the map away, then they crouch and wait like morons behind some tree, I guess this boring kiting tactic still probably works with new players. There were also quite many alliance jumplings when I still played and then there was no alliance lock, the amount of situations when certain players didn't fight each others was impressive, after playing there for so long it was very easy to know who would actually fight, but for new players it must be very confusing indeed. During my EU time I totally skipped only 3 main campaigns so I have quite much experience, would be interesting to see how it's nowadays.

On my only working account NA server there's more players overall and more seem to play for the campaign score than on EU, my only experiences are from EP EU and DC NA, much less resource camping on NA, this is probably because the bigger guilds have large groups often and it's more efficient to just take resources fast and go for the door, and the nearest door the strategy sure is almost every time no matter how much oil and other stuff drops down, I bet many new players don't even know the walls can be sieged also. On my day time when there's 1-2 bars on every alliance the performance is fine overall, I rarely crash with Xbox X, while soloing there's almost certainly a loading screen when the keeps turn and recently very annoying faster screens repeatedly especially on the Covenant and Pact home keeps triangle areas, while in larger group the loading screens occur much more often. On prime times when there's more players fighting in some keep even changing the weapon feels like some amazing accomplishment, the lag is real indeed.

Xbox NA battlegrounds currently works quite well for me what comes to lag, however there's very little teamwork especially in deathmatches nowadays, other modes aren't so bad. Main problem is that the matches almost always start with 2v4v4 or 2v3v4 for example and often go on for quite long with very unbalanced numbers, also many players quit or crash very fast, it's very rare to play a full match starting with 4v4v4 and ending with the same players. I understand that in Cyrodiil the numbers change all the time during the campaign, but for having so unbalanced numbers in battlegrounds teams is totally unacceptable in 2020 when the mode isn't new at all at this point and there's been plenty of time to make it balanced what comes to player numbers.

Currently, in a lamentable state and abandoned by its development team with the likely aim of driving away this type of TESO community.

We are entitled to a PVE too favoured to the point of proving that the game is not adapted to all situations without forgetting this horrible abuse of spam spells, especially the Templar where 1 spell is enough at the helm of the latter ...

I'm also starting to wonder if the problem is not that there is a "master" trait for the PVP after all?
Wouldn't the problem of pvp also come because of that?

The worst of it all, will still be the 0 communication from a company that offers a service to their players that they end up hating, under the pretext that it doesn't bring them anything, but who included the PVP? it's them though!

There would still be a lot of points mentioned, but Zenimax prefers to let players argue on a forum rather than listen to the feedback from players who try tirelessly motivated the devs to do something and despite all his efforts from players to write their feedback is none other than a deletion of disturbing posts and or probably internal mockery by this studio!!!

Not to mention that all this easily creates a division of the community where PVP players don't understand PVP players about class balancing, which probably leads to a lot of conflict and again I repeat this is the devs who proposed PVP.

We are invited to play a game, or then the owners try to drive away a community, scorning them, it's high time that this type of behavior changed, because it's getting tiresome!

That's what the state of the PVP suggests today, in Elder Scrolls Online, without forgetting of course the problems of spell lags that won't activate, of this infamous impossible blocking system.

Other last point, I'm a French gamer, I very often watch Twitch, at the beginning, we were allowed to stream quite a lot for TESO, but most of them, have a number of viewers below 100 and now only 2 exceed this number, but then again, the few steamers I was watching ended up dropping out of the game because of the way the game was handled and also for the fact that those who handle the streamers relationship was not balanced, because, 1 streamer is entitled to the TESO benefits distribution of gifts and what goes with it and why am I mentioning this? many of its players were playing pvp!

Sorry for the last paragraph, a little bit out of the answer.
