My Harrowstorm thoughts

well after a few weeks of Harrowstorms I can say they are too chaotic and offer little reward for my liking. I find you need a large group to take them down and during the time I play that is very difficult. It would be nice if you showed on the map which storms are active so there will be more players. I also find that the adds just keep spawning and spawning until there are just too many of them to deal with. It becomes a chaotic mess of adds. I have often seen people just give up and leave. So less adds would be nice
It's kind of hard to take down pikes with multiple bosses with one shot abilities attacking you. And even after you finish one I have barely gotten any good rewards from them so I wonder what is the point. One satchel in three weeks. So maybe fine tune the storm thing. Definitely show on the map which one is active.

Harrowstorms are not meant to be done solo. Also the way to cut them down is NOT to target ads but to target the totems. These must be destroyed to spawn final boss. At the end there’s a small chance to get a new furnishing plan and a chance to get Vile Coagulant which sells for a pretty penny or is used in the vampire furnishings

If you don't focus the ghosts you will be overwhelmed with adds.

Yup need to focus the ghosts to starve the pikes and need to focus the pikes

@volkeswagon Harrowstorms in Blackreach spawn faster than the ones above ground. Also, keep an eye on zone chat because players tend to write which harrowstorm is active or which one is about to go active.
Regarding the difficulty, I think you don't really need a big group. You need essentially, at least, some players with high dps to make it easier/faster.
Regarding the mechanics, you need to focus the pikes asap and don't worry too much about adds because they keep spawning until all pikes are down. So players must stack on pikes, kill adds as they come to the pike. Ghosts are a bit annoying, kill them asap once they reach "your" pike.

After MYM is over, a lot more people will show up in harrowstorms. Regardless of the time of the day.

There is a neat bug ZOS has not fixed but if you stun the ghosts they cannot path to the pikes anymore when the CC ends. You can save yourself the trouble of wasting time and resources on ghosts by just stunning them and focusing the pike.
