Didnt we got promised faster Maintenance?

Is 8 hours for me...
Last time in EU a simple server restart ended up in a 12 hours downtime....

Personally i have the Feeling that everything in your so called "Performance Improvement Plan" has Made everything that got touched even worse.

    Normally maintenance is on a monday, and todays maintenance is on a tuesday instead of a monday. So the next maintenance is in 6 days instead of 7 days. Meaning maintenance is technically faster. :smiley:

    All kidding aside. Performance improvements do not make the server re-boot, or maintenance go faster. As adjustments to the server and database are made directly to those, meaning they go just as fast as before. The performance improvements just mean the game will be made to run better. And it has. Shorter loading screens, in-game mail arrives directly/faster, skills are responding quicker, etc.

    Richard definitely said one of the benefits of the improvement plan culminating in everyone redownloading the game was shorter maintenance.

    Shorter must be a relative term, because it is still taking over 3.5 hours

    Take anything Zenimax says with a grain of salt. Especially when concerned about "improvements"

    Every single time they've made a claim of "improving the game" it only gets worse.

    That was about patching the client, not server maintenance.

    They are responsible for not actively implementing functionality/quality of life improvements the most popular add-ons bring to the game, so everyone (including console users) can benefit and keep our clients more stable.

    They promise so much, you shouldn't count on the promises they wont always deliver.
    Waiting on the promises will just lead to dissapointment.

    We accept what we get and complain, the cycle of elder scrolls online life.

    Apprently there's no ''patch'' for this maintenance so its most likely a server thing since they decided to take down all servers at the exact same time for the same length.

    ZOS is responsible for implementing functionality/quality of life improvements to their base game, its the add-ons job to catch up. There are too many addons for ZOS to be "responsible" for.
