Stamcro vs Stamden (mainly PVP)

I have been struggling to decide the last couple of days on which on to stick with (don't really have enough time to level both unfortunately). I currently play on magplar and get smoked by both in no-cp; from what I can tell stamdens are a tad more mobile with higher burst whereas stamcros are just insanely tanky with good burst also through bb.

How do people feel about either of them? And whats the dps comparison in non-trial PVE scenarios?

They're both overperforming classes in PvP when played properly. Not much else to say really. You seem to have a good grasp of what they can and can't do already.

Both are good. Wardens are more defending against all ranged classes due to Shimmering Shield and the strong slow of Northern Storm. Which is why I think Wardens are generally better against magicka classes.

Necromancer is tankier overall and with their defile and strong undodgeable AoE, a bit better against melee opponents.

From my experience, Wardens are really crazy for a few seconds while they have their ultimate active. Outside of that, they are a bit mediocre; at least as far as magicka Warden is concerned. Stamina classes are always strong.
Necromancer- I feel -can always do a lot and does not rely on ultimates as much.

I would tell you which of both I hate fighting more; yet I find myself to be a trifle choosey when it comes to this. Necromancers are just braindead tanky for no apparent reason. They just take no damage and everything is healed away instantly; making it frustrating. With Wardens I can at least tell it is due to their shimmering shield or ultimate.

So I would say; if you want to play magicka, then Warden. Craziest magicka class in my opinion (at least passive wise) no other magicka class can achieve their amount of stats and damage and if stamina, then Necromancer because of easy access to defiles.

Stamcro would be better if it worked consistently. Unfortunately you can never guarantee if blast ones will arrive at its target, when it will and if it's damage will actually connect. Like a lot of desync based issues currently in this game aoe based strikes sometimes don't register any damage due to the server thinking your target is somewhere else.

In terms of hitting your burst BB doesn't always arrive after 3 secs as it should. Shalks is a less, but much better functioning version of this. Both are fantastic though! Blast ones would be much better if it worked...

Tethers on Stamcro are very hard to connect sometimes and leave you too long spamming to be worth slotting. They would also be really great with better functionality.

Both are great, but Stamcro on paper and stamden any other time.

Stamdens have good in-class access to Major Brutality and Major Savagery, so no fancy potions are needed. If that matters

AoE undodgeable major defile with a tooltip higher then dawnbreaker. Nuff said.
