So does it get any better than this in terms of anyone actually, you know, acknowledging you as a vampire or are you really not supposed to play the new vamp-themed chapter as a bloodsucker?

There are several moments when you have a chance to mention you're a vampire, and Lyris even says the following.

That's nice, but the very first time she meets Fennorian she:

- Warns you that "he was about to make a meal out of you"

-Says something along the lines "well if you can trust a vampire, I guess I can too" (despite having worked together until that point)

And that's only as far as I got.

I'm not sure what's worse, honestly: that they never acknowledge it, or that they have selective amnesia about it.

Fenn is also in the Unhallowed Grave Dungeon you can actually tell him there your a vampire.

Yeah, this happens a lot. It also happens with recurring characters who treat you like they’ve never met you half the time and then have one line of dialogue where they recognise you another.

I kinda wish they’d put pre-quest requirements on some of these questlines rather than trying to balance new and veteran players.

You can also play the whole questline using the goblin costume or the skeleton polymorph and no one ever brings it up. Lyris' silence on my cute little goblin face or how I make xylophone sounds when I take melee damage is deafening.
