Text Chat is gone from the Social Menu Xbox NA

Just logged on and was parsing on a test dummy when I noticed the results didn't appear on screen. Wen to social and the Text Chat option is no longer there. I cant see any text, or type at all. Usually its between voice chat and emotes, but it's not there at all.

Did something happen?

I have encountered this many times in the past. The only way I have found to correct it, is with a re-log.

Same happened to me today on XB1 EU. Relog and a reboot of the xbox did nothing to fix.

Any other ideas?

Yeah, at this point my friends and all raid groups use the PSN Party feature for communication. ESO is too unstable and often breaks.

I’m more concerned about the two new Greymoor audio bugs.

The first is where all audio in the game cuts out in Kyne’s Aegis during prog runs (potentially other trials too). It seems that after wiping a few times to a boss it has a chance to trigger. Have to close app and reopen to fix it (reloading UI and even logging out doesn’t work). Very troublesome bug.

And Ofc all Dragon type enemies play their very loud dragon breathe audio in a permanent loop until reloading UI now.

for the Sunspire dragon glitch, go into your champion points and that fixes the roar.

on XBOX, delete and re-download your gamer profile. nothing will be lost.
