Uneasy Alliances quest in Moonlit Cove

I have been handed a Dragonguard Grappling Bow, currently amongst my quest items, with which to shoot at a grappling point and climb up to a ledge. However, there seems to be no wau of using it. I have sighted at what seems to be the grappling point on the cliff above me and pressed 'E', but nothing happens. Nothing at all seems to activate it. can anyone please help?

Kairos✭✭Found the answer. There are several grappling points forming a chain; the first one is a good way back from where you are given the bow, and only the correct point in the sequence will trigger the bow.0
