So I have really got into PVP this year. And one thing that always comes to mind is the CC.
I wish I could just try a campagin or a battleground where there is no CC.
OR there is only ONE type of CC wich would be STUN (No roots etc) and the cooldown would be like 15 seconds.
The combat in this game is really fun but the stuttering type of combat flow that the low CC cooldown causes is really not my cup of tea.
It feels like the pvp in this game is "Nuke, mass your damage, time your stun, if you did get the kill run around objects to buff/heal up and then rinse and repeat"
Wouldn't it be cool just to try it out, what do you guys think?

in cyro, forget it, 1 skill lagg every 6-8 secs. But some players have no skill lagg at all. Fishy indeed.

My bro said to give INSTANT CC IMMUNITY after a stun, or whatever...
INSTEAD OF GIVING THE CC IMMUNITY AFTER SOMEONE BREAKS OUT OF THE STUN!!!!
which makes so much sense to me....I just don't get wth zos was thinking putting cc immunity after the break free... instead of upon stun and extending the immunity a little longer.
But if CC were removed I would not have to run 26k+ stam on my mag builds...wouldn't want that now, would we?

If you need 26k Stam on a mag character you are blocking a lot or dodge roll etc... You don't need it if you are rocking damage shields, mist form etc... My magdk is a sturdy build and I have 18k and that's more than enough. Breaking free you shouldn't need 26k.
Cc's are fine. Break free and cc immunity not working is what is broken. Otherwise cc is essential when fighting someone well versed in ESO PvP.

Roots and snares used to be less of an issue. Before sources of immunity were up to 8 seconds long and there were less snares and roots. When zos released the swift trait, the servers had issues with people moving at max speed all of the time. Since players couldnt ever hit each other through the server lag, people complained.....obviously zos took the path of least resistance and instead of fixing the server issues with all of the money they made of summerset, they decided to not just nerf swift to what it should have been. Instead every form of movement in the game was reduced to very short duration, which makes moving and counterplay useless in alot of situations. This is why pvp feels like stop and go traffic, and only adds to how terrible combat feels in lag. It is even worse when zos keeps adding more and more snares randomly tacked on to abilities.
It is not even worth the stam to use forms of immunity to counterplay anymore. Medium armor is terrible compared to heavy, so shuffle is out of the picture. Forward Momentum is not even worth the bar space since you lost the heal that used to be on it. The Min Endurance doesnt mean much since you are casting the ability so much that that amount of regen wont even offset how many times you recast. Atleast for mag characters there is Race Against Time, where the speed and snare immunity are in a single cast.
The maj exp from pots also is a strange change..... they made it only a 15s duration. What is strange is that originally the Maj/Min buffs were supposed to be equivalent. But now major savagery can have 100% uptime...where major exp only gets 33% uptime. Now here is the kicker, minor prot potions are also 33% uptime, which means 8% mit, a minor buff, is just as strong as major exp and 3x stronger than another major buff. Zos quick maffs?
1. Remove the mass amounts of snares in the game
2. Increase the duration of all snare/root immunity (6s-8s)
This and other posts probably gave me my answer. The problem seem to be a broken immunity function, and lag ofc? I surely don't get my immunity the tooltip says. And I noticed today that alot of skills wont even go off? I spam the key like 3 times then it goes off....

You ever think about:
1. Slotting a skill that removes CC
2. Slotting a skill that gives CC immunity
3. Equipping a potion that gives CC immunity
4. Equipping gear that gives CC immunity
5. Etc.
Not sure what all the CC fuss is all about. Looks like ZOS has provided all sorts of options to counter CC. Pick one?

Well not entirely, I also said something about increasing the CC immnunity and there lag comes into play VERY much for me.
I have timed seconds after I used a "immune potion/break free" And it just does not work the full time it says it should.

Again, this seems to be my problem cause I get stunned over and over and that's why I made this post. Is it that the game is at such a bad pvp state now?
