I'd have picked both questing and exploring if I could, since I like them both and tend to consider them two aspects of the same activity, but in general I find questing more interesting in ESO because exploration is otherwise fairly basic. Maybe you'll find a chest or some crafting materials, but that's about it.

Basically I like the oppertunity to investigate Tamriel, talk to people, look around, see what I can find and what's happening along the way.

If I had to pick ONE thing, I would say trials and dungeons. The more challenging PVE content, particularly the group stuff that needs coordinated efforts to get through, bring me the most fun in this game.

I don't care much for solo PVE questing, because there just isn't any challenge for me. It is rather monotonous in this game.

Some more challenging solo PVE content, like Imp City, Cyro PVE, solo'ing world bosses and delves and public dungeons, is also decently enjoyable.

I enjoy the crafting in this game, but find it not all that worth the investment to pursue, as the best gear is looted, not crafted, so there is little purpose towards crafting weapons and armor, though I do like the foundation of how it is done in ESO, especially with all of the motifs.

I would like roleplaying, but due to the nature of it being an MMO, and all that comes with it, the immersion for roleplaying is kinda lost. I do still try, and at the very least, all of my characters have some level of roleplay concept and backstory.

For exploring, ESO does have a nice world, but it feels like a "cliffnotes" version of Tamriel when compared to the main single player TES games. Exploring is decent but not my favorite.

Don't care about money making, don't particularly care for PVP in this game (tho I will dabble on occasion), and housing is okay but a very low priority.

    Housing.
    Questing.
    Trials.
    Making money.

    In that order.

(I only make money to support my housing.)

Questing due to the stories and the atmosphere and the characters. The combat I do not care for, but it isn't challenging either so it's easy to put up with it. Exploration is fun for me as well as housing.

I would love to say questing and exploring, but as a somewhat long time player I find it too predictable. I mean, it's beatiful and the stories are fine. But it's way too streamlined. Every zone follows the same pattern. All mobs and bosses are similar, as are quest rewards. Things can never take a fully unexpected turn, and there is never nothing REALLY new.
Places have to be within a certain distance from eachother in a certain pattern. Mobs have to have a certain health value and damage output. It follows a very narrow design with no uncomfortable hickups. And that gets stale and boring real quick.
All for the sake of balance and equality.

Questing ! I came to ESO because I was out of nice single player RPGs with good questing. (So, basically, TES and Kingdom of Amalur...)
Exploring is nice, too, but I do that while questing (with the occasional detour for beautiful scenery or potential lore books/chests/whatnot).

I like the housing, but the item limit hit my enthusiasm hard, so I don't do much in that regard.
Fashion holds some interest for me insofar as I needed it to give my character a look I like (huzzah for the introduction of outfits !!), and I collect styles if I like them.

I do (and completed all the skills for) crafting, but it's more of a means to an end because I need it for housing, equipment, and gold.
Money making... Just to get the gold for housing, fashion, or other stuff I might need. Happens while doing other stuff (and selling duplicate style pages and so on).

Role playing - I just can't. I'm a pen&paper roleplayer, being used to mix actual plot/story line, action and character play, using all that to experience my character, I just can't fathom how to do it here. In pure live text chat, yes, but not here. Plus I can't even begin to memorize all the emote commands I'd need to even try. ;)

PvP - no clue how to do it right, zero motivation to learn the keyboard-fu, jump'n'run, and rotation training I'd need to get any good at it. I like zerg-surfing in Cyrodiil during MYM, though. I can go with my tank, man the ram, give shields to siege and people, throw caltrops and use siege equipment to help. So I can contribute without any actual skill in fighting other players. That's fun, actually. Other than that I don't touch PvP with a ten foot pole.

Trials and Vet DLC dungeons - nope. Again, for me it's just not worth the time and effort to learn all that perfect rotation, button precision, and game + group mechanics on top of it.

Dungeons (normal and most non-DLC Vet): Can be fun. It was fun to master them for the first time with a group of friends, and being able to run something with ease that had killed us so many times while we were advancing. And it's fun when my tank can make all the difference in helping a group of new players getting through a dungeon the first time(s).

PvP for me, but I do some of the other things from time to time for enjoyment. But most of that list are necessities for building my character for PvP.

I am shocked, because in many MMO's pvp is treated like the red headed step child, and in this poll, PvP has more votes than trials and dungeons combined. I didn't expect that. Get on that PvP enhancement ZOS! You have your audience! Take us seriously!

Hmm, odd. It works on my Win 7 machine.

Apparently, they're working on a remaster that supposedly comes out in August, so you could get another chance. :)

Exploration as in sightseeing mostly - this is something what I desired since Oblivion, to see what Tamriel is like on this strange planet called Nirn. Morrowind raised the interest for exploration, but with Oblivion the urge came to see what other regions of Tamriel are like - Elsweyr's warm sands turned out to be a little different than I expected them to be, but well.

@Lysette I remember feeling like that when I was looking at the sky in Morrowind. I saw those moons and thought that Nirn was such an interesting place. Still feel that way. Really hope they double down on the world building for TES VI.

@Everyone For ESO, the most fun I've had was PvP when it is working. But that makes it all the more frustrating when it doesn't work. I'm more into Cyrodiil (CP) than battlegrounds, but the classes for all their flaws strike an interesting balance for me.

I also like dungeons, and in my opinion the crafting system is the best of any recent (post 2010) mmo.

I think we just can stop with saying: "PvP is just a small part of the community". This is maybe the 10th poll where the majority chooses PvP as one of their favourite activities.

For myself, I enjoy endgame PvE and PvP the most. But what else is there left to do? After having done all the quests at least three times and did a lot of exploring, I can only come to the conclusion that if you choose exploring as favourite activity that you must be new to the game. I mean, what fun is there in looking at the same scenery for the 100th time?

Making troll builds to mock balance in the game, then playing around with hybrids until someone angers me , then I go back with that troll build and relish in their rage. Yes, that is pretty fun.

    Or

Healing so much in PvP that the opponents cannot do anything to me, the zerg under my protection, or anyone around me and all their AP gain stops. Also fun.

Though nothing beats baptizing players in Midyear Mayhem when they cannot even dent my hp...

When I first began the content of ESO was so overwhelming I began making a content overview.
It is simple and I probably missed one or two but it shows just how huge ESO really is.

Since then I've learning I'm mostly in the Dungeon category.
