Fall damage from the top of the keep as I ran, screaming, from the purple ball.
How about the nr of our stats? I just started pvp, changed my built ( And will probably continue to do so until I find something suitable) - had all the above-mentioned mistakes - alright, as we go we learn, it's a process - but I got a bit surprised by my magicka nr. It keeps fluctuating for no apparent reason, and not in the best of ways. Example - when I made the built - was in a crafting house (So housing) - so no buffs other than my own food, the nr was around 44k. Later when I joined pvp grounds , nr jumped to 46k ( Imperial City - ) - so I assume there are buffs in there just as there are in Cyrodiil (although I saw none listed - and I didn't do anything really, just logged into base). But later on - same day - also in a quiet moment - solo - (no players to debuff me or other skills - which also normally get listed for us to see) - my magicka went down to 37k, and some 30 minutes later ( also without any reason - was already out of pvp and soloing around) - 38k. Eventually the next day it started at about 40k - then again the original nr from its moment of creation - 44k - and now I am currently in pve , doing nothing ( hence I'm in forums) - with 46k . So what's the deal with that? Why is that nr so inconsistent? Also I have in some 3 days now some stat on me called " Sanies Lupinus (you've been scratched by a werewolf)" - why? Just how long does that blasted scratch lasts? (yes - at least 3 days - in case it looks like a typo, it is not.).

Forgetting what bar your on.
Assuming that your team is right behind you
Charging in-between to opposing sides
Charge into a prepared enemy
Fighting in the open
Fighting outnumbered when the enemy are not ***
Chasing people into towers when you outnumber them
Not watching your six
Watching a zerg rev up and staying in their lane of advance.
Not blocking on the flag
Looking at menu while capturing resources

The problem with that response is that it suggests that in a perfect environment, you would never die. Those same things are happening to the other guy that killed you as well. Dont get me wrong, the game is a mess, but there are other factors causing you to die as well (and by you, I mean anyone playing in PVP). Like anything else, lag can be adapted to to some degree.

Here's the thing though. You will get people here in the forum who swear up and down that they have little or no lag, so assuming these people are not lying through thwir teeth saying that, "This happens to the other guy too," is um, not true. It might be happening to the other guy too, or not if there really are players out there with litte or no lag.
