There needs to be tangible rewards for very difficult achievements to meet the needs of end game community. This community is often responsible for a lot of free advertising for ZoS in that they stream and produce a lot of content. Don't cheapen them by making them too easy to get. It is perfectly reasonable to have cosmetic rewards that are just not within reach for all players. There are things I can't get in this game because I don't care to put that amount of time and effort into it and I am perfectly fine with that.
So you are implying that PVP Players, Trade Guild Leaders, RPers, Story Players etc are not contributing to the game?
No, and I also did not say that gas station owners don't pay taxes. I think my original point was completely lost on you.
I dont think so. You clearly mentioned "end game community" and this implies that only trials are endgame. Tell me one reason why a pvp player shouldnt have skins.

There needs to be hard to get PvE achievements and PvP achievements. I support both having unique cosmetic rewards. It would be totally appropriate to give a Grand Overlord a unique skin. As for trade, add more achievements, such as 100 million sold on traders etc. For RP I don't have any ideas. The point is, these need to require sufficient investment of effort in order to set you apart.

I agree to some extent. There is nothing against having some super hard obtainable achievement rewards. But not the most. And also not only to endgame community.
Can we just acknowledge that there are many different people with different goals and different play-style in this game?
It's sad that high-end folks have lost their top motivation to do most difficult mode of the dungeon. They need to have their own awesome reward for that to show it with pride, not just a title. There is no reason to mock them, it's time to offer some compassion to fellow high-end player. ZOS had the best intentions in mind, but ended up upsetting some people.
But it is admirable that another group of players finally came to mind of developers. It's a nice progress, having some mid-path rewards, it's stimulating to try things some of us was never interested in before, and I wish such players wasn't a target for salt and poison. Telling your fellow player, who's priorities are different from yours, to go and play Skyrim, so no one will be a thorn in your back during vet-runs - is not the best example of friendly community.

Cater to both parts of that PvE community, not one or the other.
