Mountains in Greymoor, so wait that's.... the Throat of the World?

I didn't realize the big mountain in the background of Greymoor was the Throat Of The World until I looked at the direction it was in on the map. Plus it matches the description being the tallest mountain with no top to it, and I gotta stay it looks really impressive.

The only issue I have is if you're going to make the mountain so large that you can see it from Solitude, you should also increase the mountain's size in all surrounding zones like Riften, Eastmarch, Cyrodiil, and Falkreath Hold/ Craglorn. After checking in Eastmarch I was kinda bummed that the mountain isn't visible even though its closer.

Western Skyrim does something which only a small amount of zones/areas do. Those mountains are actually a massive 2D image.

I’ve went out of map toward those types of backgrounds many times. When you reach the end of the map, those mountains are still super far away. The biggest exception to this is Red Mountain in Vvardenfell which you can climb but is also full of lots of 2D images.

I’d like for them to eventually update all the base game zones. Their art team is much more talented now in 2020 than back at ESO’s 2014 launch. In fact the zones are at least a few years older than the launch date.

In the Rift you can actually see a 3D model of that mountain but its nowhere near as tall or as impressive as in Skyrim. Its more like a prop to let you know its there but the path is blocked off by a tree and a nearby letter saying the path is too dangerous to cross.

Would love a wow like every 5-6 years give entire game a gfx update instead of an adventure zone with a 4 hour story like once ya hit the apex of the gfx the game has go back add a few dpi to that tree in the original starting faction zones update enemies outfits etc rather than drop a new motif like ancestral just replace the old or add it to its base racial

Honestly we could do without so many Dungeon Packs. 4 a year is a lot of dungeons and while theyre easy to design and pump out. They take up resources that might otherwise be directed at sprucing up the older parts of the game. Personally I wouldnt mind one update a year being devoted to yearly improvements and performance.
