Enchanting is hard to lvl up (SOLO)

Ok, I think most people already know enchanting is super hard to level up solo, so the only way to level it up efficiently is with another player, where you both trade the glyphs you make, however this is a problem.

1) What about people who likes to solo everything?
2) I tried the other day trading with this guy, but he kept on insisting I give him some of my aspect because he is desperately short and he insisted I can trust him, (ANOTHER WORD, he is trying to SCAM me!)
3) Since there is no world auction house it is very very very hard to find another enchanter who, you can trust, and who will lvl up with you!

My suggestion since you already make blacksmithin, woodworking, and clothing so easy to lvl up, why not just make that leap and make enchanting easier to lvl up!

I suggest give more xp for white glyph! Or give more xp for glyph that the player create. Because I for one desperately need some nice glyph for my armor and I am already at enchanting lvl 38 and this is after spending 100k on glyphs and doing massive white glyph farming (40+hrs!)

I agree that leveling enchanting solo is very time-consuming. I don't know if it should be made easier though. It might be very profitable once it's maxed out.

    1. create glyph of certain lvlrange & quality
    2. tell other crafter to craft glyph of certain lvlrange & quality
    3. exchange 1:1

it's not that difficult. and yes, teaming up gives more xp, thats the point.

I doubt it! Because if you can lvl with a friend it becomes very cheap, this is not wow, where you only compete against maybe 12 enchanters on a server, and eventually in this game you will have a bunch of enchanters!

Yes, but considering I am lvl 8 and going to be lvl 10 very soon, I will have to max out my enchanting at lvl 50, how Im I going to find another enchanter who is my lvl?

Blacksmithing is not easy to level up without another player. It's the same situation. I'm on the fence about that design, but please don't try and tell me it's difficult. Anyone can easily max all crafting out in barely a month. That's WAY too easy.

No blacksmithing is very easy to lvl up! I am already lvl 50! It sounds to me you don't really know the game!

You can always be your own friend, also that and people tend to ignore the fact that enchanting 15 you can make up to level 45 runes, a lot of the ranks in enchanting is for Vet levels.

However it does level up faster if you make an Alt. (they dont really need to be leveled you can get at least 5 skill points with 0 combat (least n AD) its a good start, or you can play the alt a bit and diffidently have plenty to spare for enchanting. (Worst case you need all your skill points just play until you make it to the city with a respec place and free them all up)

I agree with you OP , i think all professions should be equal when it came to lvling.

No idea why they made enchant harder than the rest.

Guess your best bet for now , is trying to find someone you can trust in your guild.

It's fast if you level with someone else. Alone at my level, it would take me 350 steel ingots to get to 18 from 17.

Mate , i break everything i get for research ok? I have wood+black+cloth around 32/33 and enchant 11.

So , if you consider a player that just lvled solo , all i did was break everything for all profs , i have pretty much 3x on the rest over enchant heh. So yeah ... enchant is harder to lvl solo.

you are leveling it wrong! you go out in the world kill a lot of monster and you salvage the items! thats how you level blacksmithing!

Seems kind of silly that destroying looted gear is the ideal way to level, though. You know, crafting stuff makes more sense. But I do both. I'm level 25 at 17 blacksmithing and I break everything down.

Only craft what you will use! I know its silly but its what works!

easiest and fastest way to find someone to swap with is in the level-appropriate zones, a lot of people will sit on those mats.

if you got a crafting-alt that can't get there ask in guildchat. :)

    Sadly true.

The crafting in this MMO is based on the "copying someone else's homework" approach to learning. Having experienced and maxed crafting professions in both LotRO and SWTOR I have to admit that although they had their flaws it always felt like your character who was having the bright ideas.

So far in my Sorcerer's career in Enchanting, and clothing and woodworking, his approach of lengthy personal study after extensive time roaming the wilds to collect the raw materials for his arts... is proving somewhat less effective than a group of people standing in front of a crafting bench having bought materials and passing the same armour design between them.

... not sure ZOS have gotten the focus quite right on that one.
