Trunks made by Woodworkers, Clothier make rawhide bags

I think since lots of folks are talking about inventory space to bank and making alts to make up for the more inventory space. Woodworkers should be able to make trunks, and maybe Clothiers could make rawhide bags? Just my thought what do you all think? This is a MMO right. Make it fee like one.

Maybe after player housing is implemented so we have a place to put these trunks and bags.

Nah, lets just put all those trunks and bags (and chests that a BS could make) in the middle of a town square!

I disagree, I think space is fine if you just use 1 character.

But to help the OP out, how about an enchanting item that is put on bags that makes them have extra dimensional space.

I like the idea LOTRO had, where woodworkers were able to make furniture for houses.

Lotro woodworkers couldn't add space slots to that furnitures unfortunately : /
I really hope ZOS will implement housing in a not so far future.

Bag slots are a deliberate - and very effective - gold sink. Why would they remove that?
Unless crafting a bag took 250 gold and one character-login every 20 hours, per slot, I guess, and if you could add at most 100 slots that way: then it'd just be like having a horse.
[edit: actually, no it wouldn't. Because bags would be transferable, and the whole point of a horse is that it's per-character, non-transferable: the massive advantage you get from it is counteracted by the significant stickiness from your investment in maxing your horse for 230+ days]

I have to agree with Glurin. This would only work if we had player housing and had a place to dump the bags.

But an argument could be made to implement a storage item in inventory. We already have the beginnings for one. The CE treasure maps come in their own storage containers. You can pull one out at a time and leave the bag and the remaining items intact. But once you pull the last treasure map out, the bag disappears.

But I fear the problem would turn into somebody putting a container within a container within a container for infinity. Eventually this tier level storage has got to turn into a nightmare for server stability.

Like a crafting box just to hold crafting mats and so on. But never a trunk inside a trunk.EQ 2 had a good trunk system.
