I requested this day off from work so I could play ESO. Not for any particular reason, I don't care for Midyear Mayhem, but still. I was going to throw my whole day away playing this game.

This maintenance is enraging.

I demand 50 million crown crates.

    Drop rates being what they are, you still wouldn't get any of those nice mounts. :lol:

    I did the same. Such a waste of a day off. From now on I will never take days off on maintenance days.

    I've long since given up on getting a fancy mount from those boxes with drop rates specifically designed to rip you off.

    The truth is that if they want to be called professionals they should compensate for todays loss to those that pay active ESO+ subscription at least...

    Well....I still have the "Flame Atronach Wolf" mount; my only "apex" mount, and frankly, I renamed it "Bessie the Hell Cow" 'cause that's what she looks like.

    Now if I had a few more character slots, I might create a character just to ride her...

    And as for days off... what you do is log into ESO, make sure it's working, THEN call in sick.

    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Sorry that sucks. Always a risk when you take a day off for gaming though. Has happened to me more than once :/

    You can minimize that by not doing it on any launch days or maintenance days.

    I took a day off earlier this year. A Monday, since Tuesday was a holiday so I had an extra long weekend and an extra day to play ESO. Or so I thought cuz maint happened and PC-EU was unavailable the entire day...

    Know how you feel man. My condolences :'(

    Yep, I'm on leave, too - lots of new characters to prepare for Midyear Mayhem. Not prepared. I would like a fleshfly pet as compensation.

    Tbf, this level of delay and/or issues following a ZOS patch/maintence before an event is common. Should have taken tomorrow, or better yet the next day off =P
