The Adhazabi Aba-daro is a special ESO vendor that only appears on the weekend to offer a random selection of gold jewelry (2 from dungeons and two from zone items sets), two monster set helms or shoulders (pledge dungeons).

Stygian set is really good for a PVP bomber build when coupled with Vicious Death set - 5th set bonus - when invisible or sneaking spells do 20% more damage.

If you're a vamp stage 2 you also get +300 spell damage when coming out of sneak/invisibility from the Strike from the shadow passive.

Overpowered AF.

Hehe actually though to be fair, the new magicka return and AOE mechanics on Overwhelming Surge is actually potentially useful for some trash pack/AOE farming applications.

How good is the new Overwhelming Surge set?

It is at least way better than I remember it being. 15% chance on spell CAST to damage ONE enemy. Now it procs on DAMAGE also which means it is up pretty much all the time.

Double spell power/magicka combo on a lot of these reworked sets sort of tells me they are made to be used with Mother's Sorrow for the crit and probably lover mundus for pen, and then are capable of being either semi-viable for damage or else can function as a decent placeholder/replacement for people that don't have trial sustain sets like False God's Devotion.
