Hi all,
This isn't another moan about drop rates in vma, its rng and is what it is. I'm just interested in how much luck people have had farming their weapons post patch.
I'm on 28 runs post patch and so far
8 resto staff
3 ice
3 lightning
4 cruel flurry
1 shield set
1 maul
3 battle axe
1 2h sword
4 bows
0 inferno
On the bright side I've had an Inferno elemental succession haha

✭Healer Main here, i only wanted the Perfected Maelstrom Resto as that's the only vMA weapon I actually front bar (in PVP).
I have no motivation to go for for the inferno. (I have countless old maelstrom inferno staves, but I rarely play DD so if I actually do that, the normal maelstrom inferno is enough.)

Truth is, perfected isn't even really needed, it's become a matter of principle now for me as I did a number of runs a couple of years ago on PC, never saw a dd staff on any shape.
Also did probably 12 runs pre patch on 2 characters and didn't see a dd staff drop, got an Inferno from leaderboard.
But I'm gonna make sure I have one, not sure why they used spell pen on the back bar only - maybe they will change the stat in the future, fingers crossed!
At least I have a lightning now, makes vma clear a little faster0 -
