Altmer passive and Vampire cure Question

Hey guys, returning player here with a couple questions...

1. Back in the day there was a bug where if you cured Vampirism you lost the skill points in the tree if you didnt remove all your skill points at the shrine. I dont want to spend the money to do that if i cure, so wasnt sure if could just cure now without removing my points and get them back.

2. The new racial passive for Altmer states you recover magicka or stamina whichever is lowest? Does this mean if i am a magicka character it will always restore stamina? Or does it mean if i am completely out of magicka and my stamina bar is full then i will get magicka back from the passive?

Always restore Stamina. I think the cure refunds points now, iirc.

All cures refund skill points so you're not having to spend gold to respec.

I had a character that cured years ago without refunding the points, and when I logged in with them after the release, they were unexpectedly returned for use.

Thanks guys, i think i may switch race and cure vampirism since there is no longer the regen passive

Depending on what you do and your playstyle, you may like the new passives. It doesn't make a lot of sense lorewise, but it can come in handy sometimes.

Curing vampirism I can get behind. But race change is probably not needed.

The breton new passives really interest me, sustain seems so strong
