Solitude Load Screens

Why are there so many load screens inside Solitude? We already go through a load screen to get into the city. I loved the idea of doing all my writs in Solitude until I hit load screen to get into the Enchanting Station and the Clothing Station. What is the point of that? Seems like every other building in there has a load screen to enter/exit. It is utterly ridiculous!

I totally agree, I was hoping to make Solitude my permanent hangout spot, even bought the house there. The load screens to essential services are definitely more of a hindrance than a help. I have crashed nearly every day since Xbox release in a Solitude load screen. It's just inconvenient, I really hope ZOS considers reworking the internal load screens in the city.

I would have preferred if the gates to the city were permanently open. Trying to do horse riding, writs and any other normal activities on alts is terrible.

The reason we have loading screens at all is one or more of the following:
    1. Insufficient memory allocation for all the available resources (meshes, textures, etc...)
    2. Server Synchronization with isolated "areas", which include other player data (see #1)
    Basically, poor resource management.

Honestly, I fail to see why any software platform today constrains itself to 4'ish GB of memory usage, when many of us have 16, 24, 32GB, or more of system memory. Heck, I have 64GB ram on my laptop (because why not?) and yet programmers still do not design their software to be capable of taking advantage of abundant system resources. /shrug
