Or remove random dungeon rewards. That's a big part of the problem with people who just want the reward and don't care what happens in the dungeon, maybe hoping to get carried when a tough one shows up.
But a separate queue won't change things when people just want their pledge done but don't care to get serious and just hope for a carry.

SOLO mode is important because it would let everyone learn most of a dungeon's mechanics on their own before they group up. Right now it's totally legitimate to get complete newbies queueing for any dungeon and that can add to the frustration when someone queues but isn't wanting a 1 hour training run.

I'm sorry, but how is a solo mode going to teach you group mechanics?

You learn all the mechanics because you have to basically do all the roles. Once you go into group you already have an idea of the mechanics.
Instead of chasing after a bunch of high level toons mowing down everything and not having a chance to see or do anything.
Or getting kicked for being new.
Or having to be told everything instead of discovering/asking about just what's new. And everyone spending a long time typing into chat to explain it all to you. Or having people drop because they don't feel like waiting for you to figure it out.

And just because a mechanic isn't one that absolutely requires more than one person doesn't mean it's not useful to know it beforehand.

100% yes, but ppl whi are not ready will still queue for vet dlc out of curiosity (ot they just don't know they are not ready) and separete queue will not protect you anyways

    ^Already a CP restriction... 300 for DLCs.

This is not corect. Have a guild mate, who went in vMOS to get monster set via group finder he is cp 220 + someething
    and got carried like crazy.

and, even if you join with 300+ CP, doesn't mean they're any better. I saw 160 CPs better than 500 CPs, and not rarely. No food, light attack spam, no orientation, no communication, etc. These are the pugs i avoid doing vet dlc's with. The reason i don't have any dungeon DLCs from the clown store, i don't want to risk getting pugs in random daily vet dugeon.

I think this is a good idea, as long as the option is there to queue for both DLC and non-DLC dungeons simultaneously.

This is a good idea and I support it. I wouldn't mind if normal DLC dungeons got their own queue.

Why? Because say you are just leveling an alt who has just unlocked DLC dungeons at lvl 45. Then you queue for a random normal dungeon and get into let's say....Bloodroot Forge. Would you feel comfortable as a DD to be able to do enough damage in this DLC dungeon? When you got non set gear and you're not even lvl 50 yet? Nope. You need to do more damage in DLC dungeons compared to base game dungeons like Elden Hollow I.

I always feel a small sense of dread when the dungeon finder puts me in a DLC dungeon and I'm not even lvl 50 yet, especially if I go as a DD. I just think "crap..." A tank or healer could do it, but DD's are the ones who are supposed to kill stuff.
