Wasn't Swift nerfed?

how are you going to nerf swift which used to give +10% movement speed (gold) because people were just too fast and then turn around and make everyone with Wild Hunt Sonic the hedgehog? I'm loving the speed but its a little much.

That's much speed outside combat - in combat it's only +15% in cost of another 5-piece bonus. Personally in PVP I prefer Coward's Gear with +30% speed and -30% Damage Taken while sprinting.

So 25% movement speed with minor expedition which a lot of classes and and everyone has excess to. It feels like I'm playing Parcheesi (boardgame) but with 20 dice instead of 2.

Because Ring of the Wild Hunt requires you to choose between +15% movement speed and a whole other set bonus—probably a monster set. Swift just requires you to choose between it and other jewelry traits.

It's perfect for my ranged magblade who didn't need a monster set, but my other PvP characters get more mileage out of a monster set, and I think that's going to be true for many builds. Do you really want it to be nerfed and unusable?

Also I think only sorc has easy access to Minor Expedition.

During the time they nerfed swift their reasoning was that gaining speed is just too easy. just saying.

Tbh I think the ring will be very strong only after they fix the stuck in combat bug.

swift was nerfed becasue it was basically +30% speed at all times without any downside/tradeoff

the wildhunt ring on the other had is +21 speed in combat and it comes at the cost of giving up another 5th set bonus

meaning while yes, in theory you could rock swift on everything and achieve 32% speed in comabt and an ungodly 62% out of combat you would still have to pay the set price

and for those of you that say "the wild hunt ring is only 15/45%" it comes in the swift trait..so that's +6%

I think it's nice where it's at. People that stack on top of it get to where they just run away. If you are not built to keep up, it's pointless to chase and with what some of them give up for speed, it's often pointless to fight unless they see a weak target.

I think they want you to burn resources chasing but I see a lot of people just place troll siege and run whenever anyone comes after them. I suppose it's a distraction tactic to pull people to off keeps but I don't see how its engaging gameplay.

Guess what I'm saying is the ring itself is fine. Speed stacking is obnoxious, especially in lag; but it's not really imbalance

They originally nerfed Swift because servers couldn't keep up, but now that the servers have been so improved it must be OK. ;)

Actually it seemed to be more of a physics bug than anything to do with the servers. I can bug out targeting at base speed, bug it out easier at 30% speed, and beyond that I can make sure no one ever damages me.

Why ZOS thought that bringing speed back was a good idea when the bugs are still present escapes my mind. But it wasn't the only move I found illogical, so I guess it makes sense.

There's a cap of 200% speed movement, and you already start with 100%.

So basically you can only be 10% faster than a maxed out horse with maneuver skill.

For me that's just not faster enough, so it's for sure nerfed

It will probably be nerfed too, if history is any indication.

They'll nerf it all in like a month or so, after everyone has bought the patch.
