So, do you as a player care about housing related content? Why or why not?

I personally don’t and when I go to players houses it’s always empty. Most I’ve ever seen in a house was 3 people. I personally don’t see why people sink millions into a house but that’s just me.

I have one fully furnished house in Alinor and this is enough for me. Otherwise, I don’t worry about what will happen with the housing.

No. I care about performance over all other content.

For example, when I got tablets for the home in North Elsweyr I smiled. On the other hand, I don't focus on it. Questing, dungeons, and pvp are my favorite content.

Yes, although I find it difficult to properly furnish one, especially the larger houses (hence my dismay at all the recent additions being mansions). So I only have one house I am happy with an a couple more WIPS across 2 accounts. All small, all cluttered. Mostly it's furniture I made or found. As for why... it's a fun creative outlet when done sparingly.

I'm working on various houses on both accounts both servers. Housing here isn't as good as housing was in RIFT (nowhere CLOSE) but it's still fun so I enjoy it.

I enjoy it. You can make some really fun stuff. Some folks are incredibly talented and I have seen houses that would blow your mind, using furnishings in ways you wouldn't have thought before, to make aquariums, haunted houses that look like a Disney park ride, and a carnival complete with manually-constructed ferris wheel, etc.

I also like putting together themed rooms and using them as raffle prizes or auction lots for guilds I'm in. I run two furniture stores for guildies as well and while very expensive to get going on the front end with designing all the display pieces, it's earning me so good gold from high-end buyers who like housing but can't be bothered tracking down/learning a bunch of furnishing plans, so they spend that gold paying someone else to craft it for them (and sometimes even to come set it up/decorate). :)

I do not put any effort into housing but I think ESO has done a very good job on housing and should continue to put some resources towards it. I know many people who enjoy housing a great deal. Having played other MMOs, having housing is much better then no housing.

I like housing. It's all I have left to enjoy in the game. I have a Christmas house, a Halloween house, a beautiful torture cave, a wine cellar, and numerous half done ideas like a wedding venue/bed and breakfast. Its expensive but it's the only thing ZoS hasn't ruined for me.

I have been into housing stuff in all kind of games and MMOs and if there would be farming I would care about that as well. I remember back in the 90s when I still was a kid, to have done housing stuff in text-based mud just describing the looks and function of things in text only - housing, farming, mining and crafting was always something I enjoyed in games and MMOs.

You might like sleek creek house near Rawl'kha in Reaper's March - very convenient with a decently sized outdoor space, crafting, bank, stables, guild traders, outlaw refuges and writ delivery and wayshrine all conveniently nearby - a lovely veranda, space for own crafting stations below the house - and it is not even expensive.

I'll have to check it out. I do a lot with exterior spaces. My Hundings has much more stuff outside than in: it's practically forested, I built a dock (shame I don't have the Master Fisher ship), and I built out the beach with lots of Summerset limestone & coral formations. Plenty of big statues (like the ones on sale this week), too.

I do care, a lot in fact. You can spend countless hours on housing.

I always find it fun when your character/characters have a place to call home, especially if you can tailor it to fit them. For example create your own Imperial Mansion for your Imperial character. I call Linchal Grand Manor home for my characters, it's the perfect Imperial home. I've also made it quite...draconic, Akatosh banners, dragon statues and Imperial statues for example. :p (All hail Akatosh!)

If you don't care much about housing itself, you can at least care about fast crafting. It's a lot smoother and faster going to your own home to do crafting, enchanting, cooking etc. Or it's a place to just have stuff in storage containers as well as your own personal banker & merchant. Or you can utilize a home to have dummies where you can practice parsing and doing good amounts of damage. Housing isn't just a place to teleport, you can do a lot with housing content. :)

I used to but I gave up when I got a house big enough to slam into the furnishing limitations and still be super emtpy.

Like I made a library but I had to remove everything else from my house just to fill a couple of bookshelves.

It is not really as simple as the poll makes it out in relation to the comment they stated before the question.

I care about player housing. I care very much for being able to have DPS dummies and a set of crafting stations set up for an easy access location to decon loot and more.

So I do care about the utility it provides but is not going to do much to decorate it as OP seems to suggest others have not done. However, I have seen some well decorated and we all have different tastes and interests. That is all it is.

Should have been third choice of responses ....

I have the free homes from playing the game, and one that I purchased (Sleek Creek, bought for proximity to the outlaw refuge in Reapers March). I use the homes to place at least one of the furnishings that cannot be sold, most duplicates I destroy.

I am disappointed with Greymoor's vast amount of non-sellable Antiquities furnishing. At least make the non-gold furnishings sellable.
