Running out of time when scrying!

This is crazy! I scry and run out of time before I can get all six. So I try again and click faster, and I run out of time again, but this time it runs out faster. So I try again and click even faster, and the I run out of time even faster! So now I'm clicking at random as quick as I can, hoping to beat the clock, but I still can't get all six. The harder I try, the shorter the time I get! Who in the world would build a system like th.... Oh, wait...

Time runs out when you run out of moves though.

It's not time-based, it's turn-based. So yeah, the faster you click the faster you'll run through all of your available moves. :D

Take your time and strategize your moves, and don't forget to make use of whatever ability skills you've unlocked.

Awesome.. hate to tell you this but it's not time based, its turn based. And before you get there, so is the digging.

I tried it with the first questy bit you get to apparently learn it all with poor descriptions of the process and then how you're supposed to know where to dig by just staring at the dig site layers. I ran out of time(did find some gold, so wasn't a total waste of time...), realised it was just bollocks(and a potential waste of LOTS of skill points) and went back to having fun on my new vamp magblade. It's just a good job Howard Carter wasn't on a timer........

It is a really weird design that they call it a time in the game. Maybe it's for immersion purposes or maybe they didn't want the "mobile game feel" but why not just name it turns or energy? When I have done my first dig I thought "this will be easy - there is hours and hours on that timer". So I wasn't even looking at the bar at the top and failed my first couple of digs.

Yeah they didn't really do a fantastic job with the tutorial, or with naming things. I can understand why OP got confused.

But it's all move based. At the top of the scry screen are 3 buttons for different types of moves (you need to unlock them via skill points in the skill line for scrying) and these highlight larger areas. One in a straight line, one in a big splotch, and one that just highlights all the same symbols outside your highlighted area.

Once you've got all the tools unlocked it's almost impossible to NOT get all the nodes.

No, what he's referring to is the bug I noticed as well.

If you scry too fast, your turns don't reset on your next scry and you can end up starting a brand new scry with only one turn. Its definitely a bug. I've experienced it multiple times.

Its not really a game-breaking bug though because you can just start over consequence free.
