Guards should be killable

I already hate it that NPCs are killable and I have to step over a pile of murdered old womens' bodies when I step out of my door every day.
idea for new gold sink: "hire a guard"

✭✭✭Guards ae thinking the same thing about players. Let's level the playing field first by letting them kill players much more easily.2 -
ValueDrift✭✭✭Killable guards would probably lead to non-stop slaughter in large cities with every killable NPC always being dead, which would kill immersion more. Basically every city would be Anvil during Dark Brotherhood event.6

mavfin✭✭✭✭No. The guards (and everything else killable) would be dead all the time. That would be a worse 'immersion killer'.
Just learn to not get caught instead of whining about the guards.

Nope.
The Justice System is in place for a reason.
There are passives in the Thieves Guild skill line to help you improve your thieving and make it easier not to get caught.
But, escaping the guards is just a L2P issue ... players get better after more gameplay.
