Can we please not have shop keepers decline to speak / interact with vampires at stage 4? This is such a poorly thought out change. I'm a pretty casual player. I don't have the gold to buy random potions to decrease my stage, and a 4 hour IN GAME ONLY cooldown that doesn't decrease out of game, it's ridiculous. Thats essentially the amount of time i spend on the game over the course of a few days.
If you want to have an RP aspect..just have them cower in terror and do whatever I want. Honestly what sense does it make, if they are that terrified of me being a monstrous vampire, to *** me off. They should do whatever I want at a discount just so they don't have their throats torn out.
To conclude. This change is just dumb and pointless. Where is the sense in punishing the playerbase with pointless inconveniences simply for them testing out the games heavily marketed and advertised "Re-Vamp".
Honestly. All I want to do is repair my broken gear. Now i've got to leave the game just running for 3 hours and wait out the stage decrease timer. So stupid.

Before the rework, it didn't. You could be ugly as sin stage four and do whatever you pleased with NPCs.
But once word of the 'new vampire' went up, tons of people spoke up saying they wanted the vampire to mean what it means in lore and NPCs should be responding, there should be consequences for being a vampire..blahblahblah.
So they got what they wanted. The rework PUT THIS IN. And since they literally just 'finished' putting it in less than a month ago - perhaps they'll change it again in another 5-8 years...(however long it took to get the change the first time lol).

Anyway...
It's been ages since I had a vampire - can someone remind me how the feeding works?
I could've sworn you sneak up behind someone and press Y+B, but that's not working. (Or I'm doing it to the wrong people)
... Why doesn't a sorc walking through town with their demon pet not bring the guards running?
...
By that logic, then only half of the games classes should be accepted by NPC's: Templars / Wardens and possibly Dragonknights. Sorcs summon demons. Necros raise the dead. Nightblade siphon souls.
The justice system might be the worst gimmick i've seen in a video game.
I main a Nightblade btw. So why wouldnt me accidentally hitting sap essence in town not put a bounty on me, as vamp skills do?
Why doesn't a sorc walking through town with their demon pet not bring the guards running?
The whole thing is inconsistent and stupid.
