Bi-weekly maintenance make servers laggy at the end of 2nd week

We are currently at the 2nd week of bi-weekly maintenance cycle and I noticed that starting Wednesday the infamous skill delay and de-syncs in trials are back. Prior there were couple occurrences of skipped maintenance in the past and server performance became progressively worse as the time went by. Once maintained - it was back to "normal".
Does anyone else notice skill delays/not firing and other odd performance related issues becoming worse without maintenance?
It seems to me that weekly maintenance is crucial for servers to operate and the fact that developers opted for bi-weekly schedule is pretty sad.

This reminds me that during the first month of two of this game going live many of us were not able to log into the game one week. The number of players that could not log in grew each day until Zos performed maintenance. Players guessed the game still had one of our characters logged into the game. Zos never stated they found the issue or a solution but the situation was remedied when Zos did maintenance.

The point, with a game that already had performance issue you may have a solid observation about the benefits of more frequent maintenance.
