The Cyrodiil lag on PS4 started with Feb 5th ESO update.
I seriously thought that since the cause could be traced to a specific update, that meant that it was probably fixable.
Four months later... crickets.
So no, I'm not expecting "a word from the developers". I assume if they could fix it, they would have by now. It's a shame because for me PvP in Cyro is endgame and the main reason I sub to ESO+
It's just no fun when you can't even walk through a door without several seconds of latency.
Cyrodiil's downhill performance isn't a 4 month curve, as stated above, it's closer to 2.5-3 years. Before that there were occasional improvements, but at this point expecting anything to change is irrational.

cyro declined 5-6 months after release, thieves guild messed it up bad, as did dark brotherhood, vvardenfell, summerset, murkmire, aaaand updates leading to skyrim. Even if they fixed the insane skill delay you have 5 years of engine issues to fix after this
Just got kicked from server during siege in Alessia keep. Tried to log back in only to get kicked again instantly.
You won't get a word for them because if they answer, they ll have to say sth. And there is nothing they can say. Tell you what? That they can't fix it and that it's not in their priorities?
PVP players don't spent enough cash on Crown store. So no fix. Ever.
There was some microstutter here and there when 200+ people fighting at a keep at console launch. With the introduction of IC the performance went bonkers. With Orsinium the decline became steeper...
They don't know how to fix it. Best bet is to try the Blackreach campaign or look at finding a different pvp game alrogether. Especially since there is way more to this game than pvp so it would be more practical to play a game that is strictly pvp if that's all you want from ESO

I really hope this isn't the case. I absolutely hate the pvp in this game, but c'mon, these pvpers are players, subscribers, and die hards. They shouldn't be treated any differently. Period
