PS4 Question: greymoor worth it?

Hi! so I was wondering whether greymoor is worth it to return to? :)
Or better... is it worth spending 40euro"s on?

I'm the allround player. Mainly focused on PVE , but just to get stronger in PVP ( which i'm not really that good at yet, not in cyrodill anyways) . I think i got all classes geared up and ready to play. CP 800 . I'm quite skilled with magsorc :) and stamsorc.

Normally i wouldn't care and just buy the game. But now i'm truly asking myself whether it's worth spending (another ( elsweyr, summerset, base game) 40euro's on or not. I mean i know About the huge lag issues, the desyncs, and so on, In PVE i can even live with it... And i love new maps once in a while, But I would like to have some kind of reassurance that the game is going to get better performance wise. Allso the dungeonfinder is extremely annoying to queue in for an hour as DPS and 1 second as tank.

The game is able to keep my attention for a while. But i find myself mostly completing each expansion in a day or 2. Make a new character, get hyped up, reach level 50 and get bored and leave again till next update. Is there a reason i'm going to stay this time? ( beside them downgrading my maelstorm weapons, master weapons ) which i farmed for weeks/months)

I guess i'm not even sure what i"m asking.

Well, can only speak for myself, and only after a few hours playing.

    Totally worth it.

Haven’t even started MQ but the Antiquities - love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Not doing the dull Artaeum grind, but enjoying mooching around the map, collecting tons of mats as I go. And love the puzzles.

Solitude is gorgeous, but haven’t explored much else yet. Doing trial tomorrow so shall see what that’s like.

    Happy bunny. 😁

As with all chapters, they are probably double the price I think they are actually worth.

    I play on PC but...

It is more buggy than previous chapters.
The zones are nice to look at but you still have that annoying have to circle a quarter of the zone to get to that wayshrine just over that big rock in front of you.
Harrowstorms are lackluster both in rewards and excitement. They are like vampire versions of summerset geysers.
Daily quest rewards are also pretty bad for the required effort.
The story line is ok but its one that has been done before and isnt very dissimilar to Elsweyr.
Antiquities are quite grindy. I think you have to do 9 green sites before you level up enough to do a blue. You seem to get loads of leads until you train up to do higher level leads and then you dont really get that many. The treasures are worth more than treasures you steal. For example a blue treasure is 1000 gold instead of 250 for previous treasure items.
Combat has changed quite a bit and many people are unhappy about it. The less casual you are the more of an impact it will likely have on you.
It doesnt seem like to many people are happy with the vampire changes. Apparently stage 1 is the way to go...still?

Overall the chapter is decent but, imo, its not worth coming back solely to play that chapter not at 40 euro. If you were coming back for other reasons and that was a bonus maybe. I would wait until it goes on sale and then consider it if its only the chapter drawing you back.

I wouldn't count ESO+ in the cost. I can't see how anyone plays without it, especially when gathering any loot and crafting stuff.

Probably not worth the upgrade cost, but I paid it anyway because waiting for a sale doesn't save me enough to make that worthwhile. Stages of life/finances most likely.

I don't think anyone can give you reassurance the game's performance will get better with time. In fact, I'd expect the opposite. On PS4, fences aren't working. I had running stop working briefly, too. My experience with Greymoor hasn't been awful, still in the honeymoon phase though. It's an ESO expansion, and so like any other zone in the game you'll find annoyances. I wound up getting the game because I have a solid crew playing it and there's nothing else to do. If you don't have a group of people you're running with, I'd wait for a sale or skip entirely.
