That would explain how I get a shorter time to kill but was shown a very low DPS number. Been making testing the ability confusing to say the least.

Yep... definitely frustrating. Can't parse with this now until it works as intended.

You can just do the math yourself to figure out the actual DPS. Not that you should have to but it isn't a difficult work around.

I expect they are bringing it up so it gets fixed and is less interested in having to calculate things manually.

Its pretty hard to do the math though when every single hit with the ability gives you a different result based on your current health. ((Blood for Blood scales up in damage up to 100% based on your missing health)) Unless you are recording or taking screenshots like a madman it'd be nice for the ingame tools to tell you how much DPS the ability is putting out.

Ok, but they said they can't parse with it now, which is what my comment was in response to.

I was assuming this is for console since I haven't heard of this issue before today and now I've heard it several times. Figuring out your dummy dps is as easy as: Total damage done/time (in seconds)=DPS

Also the fact that they mentioned that they can't parse with it lead me to think they were talking about dummy tests.

Ahhh.... this would explain the discrepancy between the combat metrics and the chat box values. Phew! Thought I was going crazy! 😄

Err... why? It's not a "Magicka Ability", it costs health.
If you want your Frags proc, use magicka.

You are 100% correct therefore the sorc request should be "fix daedric mines(and morphs) so they actually trigger things that stand on them"

Deals magic damage, scales with magicka and spellpower. It's a magicka ability that damages you.
The problem with your statement is that while BvB is meta for magicka classes, sorcs can't use it to gain an advantage because of frag loss. So while necros get crazy parses, sorcs get left behind. It's a massive oversight.

^This. Magicka Necro DPS on ESO Combat has really climbed up there this patch when everyone said that they were trash. :#
